Hotels near Congaree National Park

"The woman at the check-in desk was very hospitable. Everything else needs to be torn down and scraped away. The hotel is very old, and it shows. The hallways are dark and dreary. A pervasive odor of weed and stagnant air throughout. The furniture is old and worn. The carpet is from a different century. There was standing water already in the tub. The pictures on their website are inaccurate and don't represent the ancient structure. Not worth the money and I'm being kind. "

"The room and staff were absolutely wonderful. Honestly, I would’ve given this five stars except for the windows that make up the entire side of the hotel must be older, and it is very noisy from the outside. The staff did have earplugs available for everyone, which was lovely. The staff and cleanliness of the room which seems to have just been redone could not have been better."

"Getting on the WiFi was a nightmare to sign onto. It took multiple times entering the same ID and password to get in. When I tried to sign in another device, it wouldn’t allow it. Same problem for my wife’s phone. Absolutely frustrating. This should be a user friendly process that doesn’t require unnecessary user info. Worst experience I’ve ever had in all my hotel stays over the decades! Get IT to revamped their processes and policies to accommodate the customer sign-on."

"A great new hotel a few blocks from colonial life stadium and downtown. Park your car and walk for the weekend. Super comfy beds with elevated linens. The new restaurant at the facility is amazing and the bar staff is top notch. I love that this facility employs people with disabilities. They over deliver on customer service and a warm positive attitude. I will definitely stay there again! "
