"Everything was great except lotion bottle was empty didn’t notice till after shower on morning we were leaving"

"The AC in room 107 was very loud and the cover rattled. The fridge was also loud (when the AC was not running.) Breakfast bar had fewer choices than the dozens of times we stayed there in the past 40+ years. We wound up buying more breakfast elsewhere. Staff were excellent, as always!"

"If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

"The room was clean and stocked properly. The complimentary breakfast was good. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It is in a convenient location. My husband and I enjoyed our stay."

"The Room was nice and clean, and the hotel was in a convenient location right in downtown Gettysburg, with many restaurants, coffee shops and lots of other shops within walking distance. Check out is at 11 am, which was very nice. This is a perfect place is you are just staying a night or two to see the sights and don't really need anything fancy."

"From start to finish the ladies there are wonderful. Millie checked us in at 12:00am and she was so nice. Shell, Venus and Angie, did a great job at the front desk and the breakfast bar. They were always friendly, kind and smiling. Cristal was our maid and she is so kind and considerate. It’s not the newest or fanciest place to stay but it is definitely the warmest and friendliest."

"Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. We stayed in the Emily Rose which was a perfect size for just two of us for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The entire inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. "The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and the toilet felt like it belonged in an elementary school. It’s a cool old house! Staff was nice but there seems to be a disconnect with communication between the owner and them. We got several automated messages but staff was unaware of what they said. Also, do NOT spend the extra money for the “gourmet” breakfast! It’s not great and definitely not worth the price. Go to one of the cute local places instead. Overall,...

"Overall an ok hotel but for $235 it wasn’t worth it. The room had a smell and the WiFi didn’t work in my room or anyone’s rooms that we traveled with. It would connect and drop, connect and drop. I informed Expedia and Expedia called the hotel but the front desk guy hung up on them. The breakfast was fantastic though. I won’t stay there again"

"This was a beautiful property, everything was so clean and our room was amazing. The only thing there was a problem with was the hot tub. It definitely needed maintained and cleaned. But other than that, everything was wonderful."
