I have read review about hot water problem and assumed that it would be fixed by the time I arrived because hot water was the very basic necessary amenity for a hotel. I was wrong. I stayed in the Cottage room. The 1st night, I had to have cold bath because I couldn’t wait any longer. I was too exhausted from the trip and needed to sleep. I planned to move to other hotel on the next day, but we had hot water the next morning. I assumed again that it was fixed. But I still had hot water problem. My husband had to have barely warm bath. The 3 stars rating was because of this problem. Other than this, everything else was great. The room was just like an apartment. It had a living room, a hall way with the bed room to the left and the bathroom at the end. The bedroom was small but the bathroom was big. This hotel is an historical building. It just celebrated 100 years and it definitely shown on the outside.

The stairway and platform leading to our room needs some work. The staircase was loose and wobbly boards. It seemed to be a little weathered.

We loved the area. The room felt warm and cozy and they provided all toiletries that we needed. Only request would be to add a ventilation fan in the restroom.
