"Beautiful hotel. The best part is the pool overlooking the water - just ridiculous. Our room was a standard room so pretty small. Air conditioning barely worked. Shuttle to downtown amalfi only worked through 4pm. After that, they charged 80 euros to go 2 km, which can totally add up. The private car from nearby cities is way too expensive, better option is taking the ferries and trying Uber from the pier to avoid an hour long arduous walk. Probably would not stay here again."

"There is no other luxury hotel that is Monastero Santa Rosa’s equal. The view from the room, pool, gardens and restaurants are breath taking. The staff was exceedingly kind and helpful, food and wine selections, divine. When walking the halls of the hotel and grounds, you feel transported to a different time and place - we cannot say enough about this our time at Monastero Santa Rose."

"Walter at check in was extremely helpful with orienting us to the hotel, parking, and restaurant options. Our room was well maintained and comfortable, the grounds were impeccably maintained and the restaurant had excellent food. Be aware that the parking lot is a bit removed from the hotel front door. There is a golf cart type vehicle used to transport people and luggage to and from the parking lot. One fault - the address to this location is not as it appears on the instructions as Via...

"This is one of the most incredible places we have stayed. Every detail was perfect. Upon arrival, Miss Rosa welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know she was so very sweet. Every single staff member was very kind and spoke fluent English. The free breakfast exceeded my expectations with fresh fruit And lots of meat options from our terrorist.
