"Enjoyed my weekend trip to Tahoe City. The location was great, after a full day out at the lake. Check in was quick, friendly. "The Crown Motel is such a nostalgic place! Made me think of the early 90’s when my dad would take us to vacation. The property has an old school feel, but very well maintained. We stayed in a lakeside view room and were pleasantly surprised with how close we were to the lake! "

"Stayed there between summer and ski season. Excellent value. Not particularly crowded. Easy drive to lakeside on the quieter north side. Staff helpful and friendly. At the foot of the ski runs literally at the base of the mountains. And on the edge of a great golf course. "
