"The property was excellent and from the time we arrived everything was clear on how to enter. There was everything we needed including cleaning products and the kitchen was well stocked with what anyone would need. The bungalow was spacious and the area was quiet and clean well kept. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the site for families, couples or single travellers. A great location with a short drive to nearby villages etc"

"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. Maybe a parasol would be nice to go with the table and chairs outside, even more so in this current heat wave. "We had a great stay here the cottage we stayed in was perfect for our family of four and was in good condition. We did have an issue on our last night which interfered with our plans but the staff at reception were very understanding, helpful and accommodating. The location was great for day trips into Looe, St Austell and more. Definitely be coming back here. Thanks for a memorable stay."

"As it was once a jail, the walls are thick and built under interesting (challenging) circumstances, which you can learn about. It feels like you are inside a sturdy fortress. The rooms are very well appointed and the bathroom is a highlight, with a waterfall shower and a fabulous bathtub placed on the tiles at the other end of a full length wall mirror. Lux. Staff were friendly and reserved, very easy to deal with. The restaurant/breakfast room is an old chapel. It’s impressive. Had a lovely quiet stay here, thick walls and the small windows of the cell."

"The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful staff who work here. Every single one I met was friendly, pleasant and helpful, providing excellent customer service . The rooms were lovely and comfortable with clean bedding , providing a good nights sleep with a ceiling fan and also a desk fan provided during this heatwave . The breakfast was excellent. These things far outweighed the only 2 things which could be improved - better instructions on how to find the hotel, it’s main entrance and car park (there were a number of us who had spent a long time trying to find them or ended up in Sainsbury’s car park by mistake) .The other was a bit of floor level dust which our 2 year found in a couple of her hide and seek places ! Overall though this hotel is one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever stayed in"
