Very good hotel overall with courteous and helpful staff. Pet friendly with indoor pool. This is a no frills hotel, but give it a 5 star rating overall.

The hotel was marketed as” Hotel Blu” but it’s really motel 6!!! Also it is a 1/2 star place, uncomfortable bed, poor shower and some black mold in the ceiling of the bathroom.

Nice place for the price, staff was friendly, however this is not “hotel blu”, this is a Motel 6. Was confused when I pulled in. Room itself was clean, some things were broken like the security latch on the door, but overall good value.

This property is a Motel 6. Apparently the brand is changing from Motel 6 to Hotel Blu. All the signage on the property says Motel 6. When I booked the room on Expedia, nowhere did it state that the property was a Motel 6. Had I known it was a Motel 6, I would never have booked the room. This is deceptive. The room is what you would expect from a Motel 6, spartan and unclean.

Negative from the get-go. This is a motel 6 not a hotel Blu. Loud music. Two floors up came into my room. It's all about the Bass. Chair was unusable. It's been worn out. Shabby and run down this place. Bait and switch again, not a Hotel Blu.

The couch was 6 inches off the floor so hard to sit on. The TV was very small. The was no shampoo or conditioner. The matress slide too freely on the bed. The matress was very comfortable. Water was nice and hot. Tub was very slippery.

The location was good. The room was fairly quiet (I could hear a lot of walking above me at 2am...). It was clean and the staff was great.
The TV wouldn't stay connected. I would watch about 30 seconds of the show and it would cut off...then power back on a few seconds later. I finally just turned it off and put a movie on my tablet.
The door security latch was broken...like completely gone. So I wedged a chair under the door for extra piece of mind.
There appeared to be a maxi pad paper stuck to the wall in the shower... 😂
Overall, good experience. Would stay here again.

The language barrier is the reason for my scoring. The toilet was broke and it kept running all day and night. I tried to fix it the first night and then told a couple workers the next morning, still broke when I left. The toilet seat was broken, told them within an hour of arriving. That didnt get addressed. The bathroom above the tub wall had something on it, they allow animals so I wonder if it was from one of them. The door in the bathroom was scratched up bad. One wall had water damage you could tell by the water bubbles. The TV is small compared to the room, but that didn't matter to me. If you are staying with 18 and under girls watch them like a hawk, not all guests have good intentions. Suggestion kleenex in the rooms, freezer in the mini frig would be nice, and have the walls cleaned better. There was something on multiple walls. I know it is under new management, so I want to give them grace. The pool was working.

Overall, the hotel itself was clean, and the indoor pool was well-maintained, clean, and safe to swim in. The AC worked well, and the room was comfortable enough for an overnight stay.
However, my biggest concern was the hotel's use of a remote Customer Service Kiosk instead of an in-person front desk. As a Deaf traveler who relies heavily on lipreading, this system was very difficult to use. I had to communicate with a representative through a TV screen, and there were no captions available. The representative had an accent that was difficult for me to understand, and he frequently forgot to turn on the volume. Reading lips on a screen is already challenging, and without captions, it created significant communication barriers and anxiety.
I had to rely on the voice-to-text captioning app on my phone to understand the conversation, which caused delays and made the check-in process much longer. In my opinion, this setup is not accessible for Deaf and Hard of Hearing guests and raises ADA accessibility concerns.
The check-in experience became even more frustrating when I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned or prepared. The bed was unmade, and the room was clearly not ready for occupancy. I had to return to the kiosk, explain the issue, wait while the representative contacted hotel staff, and then receive a second room assignment. Fortunately, the second room was clean and ready.

The property was wonderful. The staff was polite and accommodating. The room was very nice and spacious. The issues I experienced were with Expedia, not the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience.

I have stayed in some dumps and this is hands down the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Changed rooms because mine was absolutely filthy. Next room was better but still dirty. Left my tablet in the first room and the cleaner stole it. Spend the extra $20 and stay somewhere else.
