"Excellent hotel! The rooms are clean and comfy, and the breakfast is very good. We traveled with our dog and the staff did a wonderful job welcoming him, which we really appreciated. Awesome location, too, close to everything!"

"Even if we pay for the beat room we were put in a downgrade room. When I went to ask for a new room the manager was very rude and cold and pretty much he sent me away. "

"So first of all, this place is literally called the Ocean Front Motel. Yes, it is ocean front right on the Seaside board walk. The room that we got was on the first floor and people walking by could just look into your room. The 2nd floor looked like it would be great and we went to the office and asked if we could change rooms, even before we went into our room. The worker asked why we wanted to change rooms and we said because people could just look right into our room. He did everything he could to talk us out of changing rooms even though it was off season and probably less than a quarter of the rooms were occupied. He said everyone walking by is respectful and don't look in your room. People walked by and didn't stare, but definitely took looks as they passed by. He then said it was a $50 upgrade to get a 2nd floor room, even though their hotel page makes no mention of needing an upgrade to stay on the 2nd level. I didn't see any proof of this and I didn't know if he was making it up or not. We originally said fine, we'll pay to move up. Then he said there were no king beds on the 2nd floor. That wasn't a deal breaker, but he just kept on giving us hurdles, so we just said fine, we'll keep the first floor room and we basically kept the curtains closed and didn't get to enjoy the view. Very disappointing."

"Very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful with dinner suggestions. Our king bed felt like sleeping in a cloud. The breakfast sent to our room was a pleasant surprise. The fresh fruit and croissant was delicious. Easy access to beach and aquarium. We will make your hotel a new family favorite. "

"Overall, a good experience. The location was great as far as being able to walk to all the places we needed to go. The staff was friendly and the river view was nice. The breakfast was okay. The spa was not available and the pillows were tiny squares. Our kids liked the cookies daily."
