Nice people, excellent breakfast and a lovely room easily walkable from the port in Old Town. All for a very good price. A classic, old style Latin Bed and Breakfast.

Personable, attractive and convenient guest house. The staff was super friendly. Great rooms with great air-con and walkable to everything. Beautiful grounds with super cute pool. Great value and perfect for a quick visit to Colonia. They also have facilities to use after you check out like the pool and showers. Wonderful staff.

Great affordable option in Colonia
The colourful/green facade of the building is very much how it really is in really life. If you arrive on the boats it's lovely and close to the port as well as the city gate. Very tranquil, nice atmosphere and it keeps nice and cool inside when the summer gets quite hot. Also great value.

Great location, great staff, wonderful ambiance, good breakfast, great environment. We stayed in a lesser room which could have used a few upgrades, particularly in the bathroom. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I love the Colonial style, staff is wonderful people, owner is very nice too, all them make you feel at home. Building Need some maintenance on doors and bathrooms need some upgrades to match the price. Mattress on really good condition

Great location. Easy to reach from the port and the bus station. Short walk into the old town. Hotel with great character and lovely staff. Very helpful and friendly Breakfast was good. Lots of fresh fruit. Swimming pool a welcome addition at the end of a hot day. Very pleased ewe chose for our stay

Lovely little hotel
Very nice boutique hotel. Excellent location only 50 meters from the Rio de la Plata and about 5 mins walk to the heart of the old town and the bus/ferry terminals. Lovely garden and pool. Try for a room upstairs with big windows overlooking the very quiet street. Note that no English spoken.

Comfortable hotel near the historical site
Amazing staff, very kind and helpful. We had to leave very early in the morning, before normal breakfast time, but they ensured we could get some breakfast anyways. This is service.

Our room was in the addition to the Posada.Very basic,one of the worst bathrooms we've seen.Bad design.Wifi very spotty.There is a nice pool,but been a hot day seems too small for the number of guests trying to use it.Breakfast was ok.'

A Slice of Heaven!
Lovely rooms for 2 and our visiting cousin, wife and grandson! Staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were very attentive to detail. The place has beautiful, artistic touches throughout and the rooms are furnished with gorgeous antiques--the ambiance provides for a very romantic getaway!

Colonia’s old acquaintance
This old gem of Colonia has charm but its rooms are in need of maintenance. In general friendly and helpful staff. Terrible WiFi. It offers a reasonably good breakfast (Uruguayan style). Very short walk to the historical center.

Ótima opção de pousada muito próximo ao Centro.
A pousada fica muito bem localizada, podendo ir a pé do terminal de ônibus ou do Porto, estando a menos de 5 minutos. Além disso, fica a poucos passos do centro histórico onde pode fazer todo turismo a pé. O atendimento na pousada é excelente, todos extremamente gentis e receptivos. Tem um café da manhã muito farto e gostoso. Também tem uma piscina e jacuzzi no jardim porém não utilizamos devido ao tempo mais frio, mas são muito bonitos. Recomendo fortemente.

Stayed here one night on a weekend trip from Montevideo. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. The wifi in the hotel is very slow and the beds/sheets aren’t the most comfortable, but certainly an incredible value for the price I paid. Would both recommend this stay and return myself!
