"Love the place. Although it is a hostel, it felt more like a hotel. Was given a large family room, with a private bathroom which was perfect for my wife and 2 kids. The location is very convenient. Walking distance to 3 major attractions in Colombo. The only drawback There are no places to eat in the area."

"I stayed CityRest Fort only 6 hours to take a shower and short nap for catching a mid-night flight. I booked a bed in Shared 4 Beds Dormitory. I checked in at the front desk and went into the room... I noticed there was nobody in the room! The man at the front desk was nothing to tell me but he arranged a sort of private room for me! I was able to relax and rest very well. Thank you so, so much for your angement. I'll definitely come back to CityRest Fort when I come to Colombo next time."

"On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez rien."

"Perfect for the start of our holiday. Large apartment with everything needed to prepare own meals (we didn’t as eating out is very inexpensive) and close to a large supermarket. "My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. ...

"The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We weren’t able to get the airport shuttle, but just did an uber for about $6 USD. The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD. It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated. For the low price, it exceeded our expectations. The best part was the friendly thoughtful...
