"The Inverary Inn was charming. It is an older building, but very well maintained, with a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Our room was quite spacious and we had a lovely view of the loch outside. The hotel is close to Inverary Castle and the entire area is very walkable. You do need to be aware that there is not elevator in the hotel, but they offered to help with bags if we needed the help. We can recommend this as a very nice place to stay."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. The property is dated but the amenities and rooms were good. As I entered my room I could feel the heating was on slightly which was ideal from coming in from a cool damp evening. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Would definitely return"

"We stayed 1 night at portavadie hotel in a standard lodge room. It was spacious and clean with the bonus of a mini fridge & pint of milk which is a nice touch. It surprised me how big the complex . You can either walk or drive to the leisure facilities as its not in the same building as reception & restaurant. The restaurant food is good & the staff very pleasant. Especially Debbie who served us at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again"
