I absolutely loved my stay here. ❤️ The room was big, clean, and very cozy. The staff were incredible; so helpful and kind. (Jane even drove me into town twice because I had trouble getting taxis.) And the restaurant is SO good! Big portions and so delicious; the included breakfast is phenomenal. A bonus is that the locals who frequent the pub are such lovely, lovely people. I had a wonderful time and will definitely come back for another stay.

Beautiful relaxing stay for our anniversary. We have stayed here several time and never disappointed. Food and drink is excellent. Staff are so friendly an nothing is to much trouble for them they coupdnt do enought for us. Cant recommend the brown trout any more for bussiness or pleasure.

Hidden Gem

Pleasantly greeted at check in by pleasant staff member . Food at dinner time was plentiful and very tasty , breakfast was top notch and cooked freshly. Rooms were spotlessly clean with everything needed . Every member of staff worked tirelessly during our overnight stay and deserve a mention. Wouldn't hesitate to return .

Staff extremely friendly. Good food, onsite parking everything you need in the rooms. Room was lovely. So overall a nice stay only negative for us was the bottom of the entrance hall and the bathrooms have abit of a sewer smell.

Warm welcome, very friendly staff. We had dinner and breakfast, both delicious! Dog friendly hotel, very easy going regrading our dog. She came for dinner and breakfast with no hassle. Our room was very spacious and cozy for two adults 2 children. It had a separates door in a courtyard which was so handy with the dog.

Brown trout aghadowey

Food is really good, but service not so good. Had to ask for menus, then had to find someone to take the order. Had to go get someone to order drinks. Stayed for three nights with breakfast and room was beautiful and plenty of space. Checking out was a bit of a problem, as they couldn't find the payment and it had already been paid before arrival . It is a lovely place, but not very well organised.
