I recently stayed in Room 201 and was extremely disappointed with the condition of the accommodations. The rug was filthy, the fiberglass shower wall was severely broken and poorly patched, both lamps were non-functional, and the toilet leaked throughout our stay. These issues made the room unsanitary and uncomfortable. I am requesting a full refund for this stay due to the unacceptable conditions. Please let me know how you plan to resolve this matter.

when we checked into the hotel, some people ahead of us got stuck in the elevator. Staff were there to try to fix the elevator. They told it was safe for us and when we try to get on, we also got stuck in the elevator. The elevator didn’t work for the duration of our stay. The outside of the facility is fairly clean. Beds were comfy. Worms weren’t too bad but bathroom especially the tub and the toilet we’re not very clean

The bed was comfy enfj although it made a metallic grating noise everytime you moved. The entire hotel was pretty dirty and run down. Tiles popping up on the floor, filthy elevator with holes in the wall, stained carpets. I was excited to book a hotel with a pool but it was shut down when we arrived. Opened up for the first evening and by out second and last night it was shut down again for sanitary reasons. My kids were super disappointed. The hotel offers a tea and coffee station 24 hours. I don't drink coffee but tried a few times to make tea. The water was lukewarm at best and tasted like coffee. I couldn't even drink it. Our room hasn't been cleaned properly, there were candy wrappers and socks under the chairs and tables that didn't belong to us! The tv and in room coffee maker didn't work. The bathroom was super gross. Some attention to detail would be nice. Two out of the 3 lightbulbs over the vanity were out. The usb charging port in the wall by the bed didn't work either. It was a super disappointing experience and not at all worth the price I paid. I would never book this hotel again

My partner and I booked a room here while we attended a wedding near Sandpoint. Woke up on the morning of the wedding to an ant infestation in our room. We assessed how bad it was, trying to get some of them cleaned off the nightstand where I had left an empty snack bag of chips from that night before, when we started to notice they're not just on the nightstand. The floor, bed frame, headboard, bedding were all infested, crawling with ants. We spoke to the front desk at 10am before we left for the day and they seemed horrified, assuring us someone would be in there to correct the problem right away. We notified them where we left the infested linens, just inside the door. Returning to our room at 11:15pm, exhausted and looking forward to a clean bed with clean sheet, we were welcomed to the sight of the infested linens right where we left them, the bed unmade, and ants still crawling around the nightstand. I have never been so disappointed, or felt so defeated after a 13+ hour day in the sun and heat, All I wanted was to sleep. The young man at the desk was helpful, but notified us that our only two options were either fresh linens and sleep in an infested room, or take a room mid renovation, surrounded by tools and a strong, permeating smell of fresh paint. It really was a toss up of which situation was better as all the rooms had been booked up. So...fresh linens it was. He did say hed be working with management the next day to comp us a night which is was somewhat placati

First, the staff was helpful and kind. However, the property is in desperate need of repair. The caulking in the bathtub was moldy, none of the outlets in our room functioned, molding and vents were falling off the walls, and the carpet was filthy. When we brought these issues to the attention of the staff, they did what they could and were kind but the property needs attention.

7/25- spent $210 for one night, based on positive ratings. Entrance from the road is easily missed, marked only by a small sign. It is a small lane bordering a defunct restaurant. Facility is aged. A few cosmetic upgrades, but not enough to hide drywall degradation in corners. The room was in substandard condition. Fractures in fiberglass shower stall, missing outlet cover, shower drain near plugged with hair from previous occupants. Mold/discoloration around tub lip. Dirt and accumulation in corners. Mattress deformation in a V-shape- we rolled towards the middle while trying to sleep. Way past its life cycle. Side entrance door handle deformed/dirty/degraded condition. Pool looked nice, and staff was polite on a positive note. I understand some budget hotels exist in this condition, but this falls way below the standard expectation for a $200-plus per night facility. Much better facilities a few blocks away in the same price range.

The staff were great! But the property is pretty dirty and worn down. The rooms are pretty old and windows are dirty when tried to open. Our first room smelled like smoke, we were able to get another room, which was better. Breakfast was great, kids enjoyed the waffles.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room smelled musty and there was luke warm water in the shower. Of the many hotels we stayed at on our week long trip I would rate this the lowest. The breakfast was reasonable but lacking. The biscuits and gravy were very good.

No automatic door so it was difficult when carrying out bags into and out of the hotel. The common areas in the hotel were dirty untidy and unkept. I don't think the rugs or floors were cleaned or vacuumed the entire three days we were there. The hotel is very dated for the price. The breakfast served was the same all three days and cold and not well stocked. There was only one elevator and it was very dirty. In two rooms on the same floor we stayed people were screaming profanities. The Girl at the front desk was constantly on her phone and not keeping up the coffee station or common area. There were no dog bags in the waste areas outside. This was the worst stay I have ever had in a hotel.

The Pool was dirty with hair balls. No fruit at breakfast. Hallways could use a could cleaning. Was not greeted with warmth by the front desk staff on the first day.

Smells like cigarettes and chlorine. Paint and mold everywhere. Checked out on night two out of three and the desk confirmed a refund for the last night… they countered with expedia will handle… expedia said no and we are out the money for a disgusting room. Disappointed in our stay, manager willfully ignored every single call I mde to try to take care of the situation but was happy to answer expedias call with me on the other line. Read several other reviews to the same effect, so they and expedia know the quality. Don’t spend your well earned dollars here folks.

I thought I was getting a 4 star hotel... This is not that. It needs significant updates. While I did think the room itself was clean, there were problems with the shower not draining properly, and standing water up to your ankles. The hot tub was broken. The elevator broke down when my husband was in it with another family. The free breakfast was very skimpy and not suitable for all diets (I am gluten free, and there was only yogurt as a GF option. I will say, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. And the bed was comfortable. But it was a big disappointment after reading expedia reviews. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but ended up leaving after one night. We did request a refund for the 3 nights, and we did get that, which wasn't guaranteed, so I was grateful for that. I think Expedia needs to update their reviews for this property. It is a run-down property that needs significant updates.

We checked in and checked out within 2 hours. This hotel is not as advertised what so ever. It is mildly/musty/sour smelling, the carpets were stained, the towel were so stinky, the tub was coated in soap scum, the bathroom sink pipes were exposed, the lights flickered, the TV was blurry, the third story room window had a big sliding window, no screen which was obviously easy access for bugs (you needed the room open if you were going to attempt to stay here) and not to mention how unsafe for small children which we had with us. The pool area also has completely fallen apart, the walls and door frames around the area are all mouldy, the water smells awful! It was a big disappointment to the start of our trip to beautiful Coeur D’Alene and ended up causing us to have to stay back in Washington and cut our trip short. We were told and assured by the front desk girl that she was going to submit a very nice refund request for us to the manager and have our stay refunded. We were told we may have to pay for the first night but would have the remainder of the nights refunded. The manager is very hard to get a hold of, when we finally heard from her she told us she was working on it and was going to let us know in 30 minutes. We have yet to hear back from her, she won’t respond to any emails nor return calls after voicemails are left for her. This is a big disappointment considering the tourism this area brings in. Saying I Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone, is an understatement.

Not great. Trim and caulking were peeling. Tub drain backed up while showering. Felt like a “landlord special” with poor upkeep. The bed was comfortable but the breakfast was mediocre at best. It will suffice if you’re on a tighter budget, but I would pay more for a nicer place next time.
