"The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at. The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance. The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight"

"What a gem! Cannot fault this b&b at all. We stayed in Room 5. We had such a comfortable stay - one of the best nights sleep in such a comfortable bed and room Great quiet location, handy to have parking too. Check in quick and easy. Great touches like fresh milk being available and pre-choosing options for a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Shower was lovely and powerful. Such a great stay, an example of how b&bs should be. "Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good."
