"We had dinner and it was excellent. Very dog friendly hotel. Staff were awesome. Breakfast was also really good. Easy access to the coastal walk."

"Very dated and scruffy. Mould on window wood. Holes in curtain. Toilet needing bleach Soundproofing non existent- could hear neighbours’ conversations and coughing through night. Creaking floors Not a nice experience and half price would have been too much Another 2 people complained about how run down Expedia go and check please!"

"I stayed in a seaview room and it did not disappoint If I had complaints, they were minor- I don't prefer small beds, but I knew I booked one & it was cozy & comfy too I am not a small person & the space between the commode & the bathtub was minimal to non existent, anyone larger wouldn't have been able to use the facilities Part of the lack of space was caused by a heated towel rack, which quite honestly, was a very nice touch The tub was fairly wide & deep with jets, but that was the rub, the jets did not work & reaction from staff seemed to suggest the jets hadn't worked in a long time I didn't figure out the shower, but was happy to soak instead, perhaps instructions posted might help Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel with a perfect location & lovely views The staff was very friendly & helpful There was not a lift (elevator), but the gentleman carried my bags up to my room for me so that wasn't an issue either I didn't opt to eat at the bayswell due to time constraints but the food looked & smelled lovely I didn't have a fridge in my room, but the reception staff offered to keep my smoothie in the kitchen overnight so it wouldn't go bad I realized later, I could have also kept it on the window ledge too Was a very nice visit"

"Easy to find thanks to a text on the day directing us to the parking area. Met by Allison at the door and made very welcome. The room, Lindesfarne, (No4) was superbly furnished and the view was all we expected. Cant fault it. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was of a high quality. Overall i'd have no hesitation in recommending The Roxburgh. "
