The rooms are meant to offersuper efficient understated luxury. Comfort is designed to fit a smallish space. "Not bad to be on down town"

"This hotel was closed for 45 days when we arrived, doors with chains and a statement that Marriot had broken its contract. Hotels didn't know, didn't tell us beforehand. Awful experience to find a new place to stay late at night. I am waiting apologies and refund."

"My stay was great after maneuvering the road closures due to an event nearby. The location is excellent; across from the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The staff was professional and extremely friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the choice of favorite pillow, extensive. The drinks at the bar were on point, with a beautiful view. The breakfast we had was delectable! It was a wonderful stay!"

"Kodo Hotel is a sanctuary in DTLA - while it's near some of the city's most exciting restaurants, galleries, and stores, it feels like a world away from it all. Kodo is currently a self check-in hotel, so guests looking who need an extra level of staff support should look elsewhere. "This room served its purpose as it was right across the street from my destination. There’s parking for a fee, and bellhop to retrieve your items. I flew in early for my one day stay for a concert and waited around for about 3 1/2 hours until I was able to check in at 12pm without having to pay the $75 early check in.
