The view from my room was amazing! Staying right on the water was definitely the best decision I could've made when staying in Cobh, it was absolutely beautiful.

Cobh was a wonderful stop for us and the Water's Edge was a fine place to stay for one night. We ate in the restaurant which was just okay. Location was great. Free parking.

We had a great stay for 2 nights. Very friendly staff. Very cozy. Easy in and out. Room was a little musty, but you're located right on the water so it was expected.

Very Nice Stay
The location of this quaint hotel cannot be beat! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The dining room is wonderful and the parking is easy. The rooms are not air conditioned but the breeze through the window is sufficient.

This lovely, quite hotel is centrally located on the tourist waterfront portion of Cobh and directly adjacent to the Cobh Historical Centre and cruise ship dock. The hotel provided a wonderful self-serve full breakfast and had secure inclusive underground parking. Our well appointed room had a beautiful harbour view as well as free internet service.

Excellent customer service and fantastic location. We would recommend The Waters Edge and stay there again anytime. Views and boating activity on the sea were beautiful. The only shortfalls included no cool air or air circulation (fan) and no mini fridge.

Property was as described. Front desk very helpful and accommodating, however no elevator and no one offered to help with our bags. Breakfast was buffet style and okay, not many options. View was amazing with watching a cruise ship pull in. Parking is under the hotel and very convenient.

Beautiful little hotel right on the water adjacent to the Cultural museum. Great views! Staff was nice and the restaurant was good. Gorgeous little town, very walkable. Loved Cobh!!!

We stayed in the charming town of Cobh during the offseason, so the hotel was not very busy, but the staff was welcoming and the room, directly overlooking the water, was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the ships entering and leaving the port. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I love staying at Watersedge everything is so central Beautiful hotel with everything u need at hand staff very helpfull. Great breakfast and a very good menu for dinner . The train station only 1 min walk away absolutely faboulous.

Noisy rooms
3 rooms booked none of us slept well due to pipes making foghorn sounds when next door used their bathroom..room 10. Room 17 & 19 were cold and generator/vent noises going all through the night . Also moving funiture sounds very late into the night heard in both rooms. Rooms have comfortable beds but are shabby, better options at less cost. Have stayed here before but in the summer, definitely would not stay again in winter season.

The true measure of great service is what happens when something goes wrong. WatersEdge went above and beyond to take care of us when there was a problem with our reservation. That is something I truly appreciate. I cannot recommend this hotel and it’s wonderful staff highly enough thank you

Lovely hotel
The WatersEdge is well located in Cobh. Many of the rooms face the water. Rooms are spacious and clean.Bar has a lovely outdoor terrace. The restaurant was closed for the two nights of our stay which was disappointing. Breakfast is buffet style with a pretty good selection although the hot food was not very hot. Staff were very friendly and it is a relaxing hotel.

The restaurant was amazing and it was cool to see a boat leaving the port right when we got into our room. I like that there was disabled parking but it was difficult to get up to our room for my mother as there was no lift. Overall it was a great stay.

Very nice room for its location and view of the water. There seemed to be a problem with the toilets. When you flush the pipes would scream. As a result we would resist flushing at night in fear of waking the entire building. Expensive breakfast. Overall I enjoyed our trip to Cohb and would stay there again.

I would highly recommend this hotel in Cobh and would be 100% be top of my list when going back, we have relatives in Cobh so will no doubt be back at some stage! Hotel was very clean, well presented.
