"We had the most amazing stay at this cosy, comfortable cabin surrounded by greenery. It was like living in a tree house. The birdsong was beautiful as were the sunsets and views of the night sky. The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out....

"Lovely place, check in was easy & place was clean, nice area. Bathroom door was quite difficult to close. Steep Stairs made it hard to bring suitcases up. Overall we had a great stay."

"The room was clean and well stocked. The staff were excellent and very helpful.
The location is good for walking to the train station, the bus station and to shops.
However, there are many stairs to enter into the building. The staff assisted with the luggage on check-in and check out.
The noise in the alley late at night and all through the night was extreme. I guess we were unlucky to get one of the rooms that the windows faced the alley. As the air conditioning was not working, our...

"I would stay again, and will, but the room had no plug in the sink which a number of gnat flies came from. When I informed the host, they were apologetic and said they would inspect the room. I have stayed here before and this is the only occasion this has happened"

"Our stay was a mixed experience, and overall, the quality does not justify the high price tag.
The first room (unacceptable): The first room we were assigned was in terrible condition. There was a persistent bad odor, a completely clogged bathroom sink, freezing temperatures, damaged furniture, and dirty seating/cushions. Cleanliness was clearly neglected, with large dust bunnies on the floor and an air conditioning vent thick with dust.
Staff and reception: Front desk service was a mixed bag....
