"We had a really good stay at the Trucountry Inn. We had stayed at this location for 4 days and we did really enjoy this historic hotel. That bar staff were very friendly and very helpful. It is a small location in a small town so the majority of the guests at the bar were locals, it is apparently one of the very few bars in the town so every night things get lively. Not wild or crazy just lively. The room was very clean and quaint. Oh and I almost forgot the food options at pretty amazing at the bar, anyone reading this should try the nachos."
"Other than a sketchy person that arrived minutes after we did, our stay was pretty nice. We arrived late around 1:00 a.m. the front desk lady was super nice and super helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. The room was actually really quiet as well which was a plus after a long day of travel. This Motel is typically avoided by me because of bad experiences in the past, but I gave it a try and I was nicely surprised. I would stay here again for another night stay. I wouldn't use it for multiple nights, but it's a definite place for me to stop and rest before I continue my journey. And the only reason I wouldn't stay here for more than one night is because I need a place that offers free breakfast for my child. That is the only reason. I don't usually recommend Motel 6, but this specific one I would."
"We did not get to stay there due to a City water leak that had the water shut off for a few blocks, but the desk attendant was so nice and accommodating. And quick to put in for a refund for us."
"The stay was nice. Just wish the sinks were alot higher, they sit pretty low, and for someone with a bad back, bending over was hard. Breakfast was good for my son, he enjoyed the waffles."
"Cheap and safe for the price. Not a whole lot of food options nearby but it is right behind a subway (walking distance) so that was convenient. Very basic breakfast. VERY basic. But there’s hot coffee and cereal.
My non-smoking room did have a lingering scent of cigarettes, but the place itself dos seem clean. A/C worked well and their tv options were decent."
