"Our stay at this hotel was exceptional. We had a high floor ocean view room which was very nice. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is right along the ocean (across street) in the Art Deco district. Its proximity made for easy access to this area which had loads of shops and restaurants. The dinner and breakfast we ate in Napier were both very delicious. We did have a nightcap at the hotel bar and it was a good place to relax. Parking was free and ample. "

"Reception was welcoming and efficient and there was plenty of parking when we arrived. There is a lift if you need it for luggage or simply to avoid the climb to either the first or second floor. Our room (no. 18) was on the top floor, facing the sea. It was perfectly clean and the space was generous, with a king size bed leaving plenty of space to move around. The spa bath was a welcome feature after a day out and about. We ate breakfast at the small balcony table, looking out over the grass to the sea, enjoying the sun. In the afternoon we sat out on the entrance balcony enjoying a glass of wine and the evening sun. The motel is 10 to 15 minutes easy walk from shops and restaurants, including supermarkets, KFC, McDs, Lone Star, Thai, Indian, Malaysian and so on. There is storage for bikes and the start of the bike tracks is just across the road, going north and south. There's a bike rental store 10 minutes down the street."

"Short 1night stay for early morning flight to Auckland. So my comments can only be brief. All in all pleasant stay and excellent customer service from the Reception - young lady very helpful with my requests. Will surely stay again when I return to Napier for a visit."
