There was a variety of maintenance issues. The entry door was missing the bottom sweep plate, thus allowing light to wash into the room by 6inches, as well as anything 1 inch tall, not to mention the noise factor. The maintenance man was overwhelmed with all the tasks at hand, as I could see. He was busy doing many things. Got the feeling he was basically alone.
The tub was missing the stopper, thus preventing any chance of taking a bath and there was no cold water in the kitchenette sink. All was identified at various times during our stay, but not addressed.
The entry locking mechanism was not working as expected. The maintenance guy did something to the lock and it began to work. I was given one set of instructions by the seat clerk, but when it appeared to not be working again, I enlisted the maintenance man who reviewed the situation ang gave me other instructions that allowed us to continue without an issue during our stay.
People with dogs did not clean up after their dog. The common area where dogs were being walked, even wit a stand holding a poop container, as well as a poop bag dispenser, which looked to be empty, was not used by many dog owners. This point needs to be highlighted upon checkin with a reminder in the room. This is a natural response for someone from a big city, but appears to be not so for others.
