"The host was very easy to communicate with. She greeted us when we arrived. She was great. The house is very beautiful inside and out, the view was amazing. It is very clean inside. The only issue is the way to the house is very difficult to get to. We drove up on a hill that had a lot of bumpy roads and a lot of garbage. Keep in mind if you stay here that once you go out, try to do all of your outings because it’s hard to go back and forth to the house."

Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle - All Inclusive

"The grounds were immaculate. The staff very polite and friendly. Food in the buffet was excellent. Every dish was incredibly good!! Fruit was fresh and buffet staff were attentive. The specialty restaurants had great service but the food in each was disappointing. The room was cleaned daily but you could see that there were areas in the bathroom that looked as if it was damaged and patched up and those areas were not aesthetically pleasing. There were no wash cloths the entire five days. And the water pressure dropped severely in the middle of a shower several times a day. The pool closest to the water slides was cleaned daily but the water was not clean. I saw the staff trying to use a brush and sieve to remove the scum but it came right back. I think it emanated from the children playing in the sand and jumping into the pool. Finally the shows were entertaining but at times the dancers’ movements were sexually vulgar. Children should not be allowed at the adult shows."

"The room was clean and they provided a coffee pot and coffee/tea supplies. There was air condition and a ceiling fan. Lots of storage via a closet, chest of drawer and night tables The breakfast buffet was really good and you also had a choice to order. The staff was extremely friendly There was access to a private and/or public beach… you needed a pass for the private beach The price for the rooms were very reasonable The layout, landscape of the property was beautiful. You felt like you were in your own little cottage, with a veranda and a gate. Very quite surroundings and very well done kept"

"Amazing staff. Great food. Not many guests or activities at the moment. Had a junior deluxe ocean front room. The view was wow! Spa was amazing. The beach was not great. Its extremely small and man made with not much of a view while swimming except the man made rock barrier. The ware doesn't get tonyhe knees. There are tons of pools though. Cleaning staff was terrible. Room did not hold up to the cleanliness expected at that price point."

"All the hotel and room were very clean and well maintained. There was some construction going on that caused some disruption but the tries to minimize it as much as possible. The beach was ok but had some weeds in it. Pool and lazy river very good. Not a lot of activities being promoted by staff though"
