Very clean and good size room. Full kitchen to use which was great. This is more like a room rental property so no housekeeping services. Noisy at times as there were lots of guests. Nice location. The town has everything you need for your stay.

Clean & quiet place
We never got the email with information for check-in (door code). We phoned their number & they said they would send it again, but never got it. Finally on arrival, phoned again & was given the code to enter. Room was spacious. Kitchen was available, but we didn’t use it. Area was quiet.

Room was clean. The common area kitchen people didn't clean up after themselves. But all in all great place to stay in clarenville close to everything

Bed is only a double so its small for a couple but we made it work. Its handy to Terra Nova, we drove to Trinity and Bonavista from here. The Bare Mountain cafe is a great spot on the water for breakfast or lunch. Need reservations to all other restaurants Bella and s kitchen

Hard to find when driving through Clarenville. Room was nice and comfortable. Need to mention the communal kitchen on the web site. Kitchen was well supplied

I wasn’t aware it was a boarding house. My room was clean and better than I expected. My only concern was that there was a bad odour on the main floor. It was quite overpowering. It smelled like a dead mouse in a trap somewhere.

Its a boarding house in a scary part of town. A crowd were smoking up next door and loud music there all night. I thought my car was gonna get broken into. Bef was comfy. Room clean. Kutchen dirty. Smelled like dead body in house.

bed was not a queen.info on the set up would have made a big difference, yes I would go their again, now that I know how they layed out their master plan. the most important thing is the location. according to Google the hotel is on memorial drive. close but I found it of marine drive by accident , after a drive to the next town & returned to clarenville. our photos of the old locomotives at the museum next door was a plus. can not share at this point.

False advertising
This is a rooming house, not a hotel. The room did not match the Room Details in the confirmation email: it had a parking lot view (not "garden views"), a double bed (not a queen), no coffeemaker, minibar, hair dryer or iron & ironing board. The room had no chair (if you wanted to sit, you sat on the bed). There were no bedside tables or bedside lamps. As mentioned in the email, there is no front desk (because it isn't a hotel): we had to stand waiting in the parking lot for a quarter hour for someone to come and check us in (you need a key to enter the building). Last but not least, Google Maps can't find the address; so either you have a Clarenville street map, or call the phone number and get directions. Summary: poor value for money; not recommended!

This seems like a boarding house, very nicely fixed up and clean. Room with private bath. Large kitchen that would work for multiple people. Own room small fridge. We were the only people there that we could see. Enjoyed using the one coin washer and dryer. A few steps up to get in. Google maps showed this one street up from the water than where it was. My new rv Garmin new where we needed to go, so better directions when you talk to owner might be helpful. Very quiet and comfortable, and the price can’t be beat.
