"My children and I recently spent two wonderful nights at Spean Lodge. Paul is the most gracious host - he made us feel at home. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable and we were treated to a delicious breakfast each morning. For supper, there’s a lovely restaurant by the train station. "Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted. We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture. The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....

"The bed was very comfortable and after a long day of walking is a great place to stay for a good night's sleep. Whilst the exterior is in need of some renovations, the interior is clearly in this process with many of the spaces being updated. My room was clean, comfortable and very quiet for a good night of rest. All in all I had a great stay here with very friendly staff and a lovely bar/ lobby area to relax. "
