"A beautiful hotel in the heart of old town, walking distance from the harbour, main square and laberinth of streets for shops, bars and restaurants. Although well occupied, we never felt crowded, with a sizeable team on hand for anything we needed, guided by a very attentive general manager. The main entrance is on a very narrow road to the front so it would have been be wise to call reception just before arrival - they would probably have greeted us to assist with the luggage before driving...

"The hotel location was fabulous and garden and grounds were great. Food was very good Would have liked a coffee machine in the bedroom and robes. Our particular room terrace wasn’t very private. A number of the sun beds around the pool we’re broken. However these points wouldn’t stop us from returning."

"Lovely hotel with clean, spacious rooms and very close to a gorgeous secluded cove (with adjacent restaurants). My only bugbear was the 'free' wifi, which didn't really work (when trying to log into most sites, 'premium wifi' offers kept coming up – available for an additional fee). Oh, and expecting guests to pay extra for the use of the room safe seemed particularly tight! "
