"I love this hotel and look forward to my next visit. I came with my husband about 18 months ago and we had such a good time that I decided to return solo for 10 days to attend a Spanish language school, visit a friend, and just to bask in the glory of the hotel. As it turned out, I suffered a bad ankle sprain just before my visit so wasn’t about to tour around the town or region of Málaga. Given my circumstances, I was particularly glad to have chosen The Gran Hotel Miramar which offered lots to do at the hot and within a couple of blocks. I spent lots of time at the pool, ate at the poolside restaurant several times, and spent many evenings at the rooftop bar.
The hotel is definitely posh which I am definitely not but I always felt comfortable and received exemplary service from the staff, one and all. As a solo traveler, I was never overlooked which can sometimes happen at other places.
The restaurant food was consistently excellent, particularly the daily specials at the poolside restaurant. When I was ready for a change, I visited some local restaurant which offered variety and generally good service.
I look forward to returning next year!"
