The particular room we had was excellent with great character and comfortable bed. "We had a brilliant stay at the Social Hub Glasgow. Friendly staff, good price and room was very quiet with good amenities. I just wish we had more time to play table tennis or shoot some pool at the table in the lobby."

"Stayed two nights. Hotel is well situated but is getting a bit outdated. Bathroom door was poorly repaired. Hotel is quite noisy, all sounds within the hotel seem to carry and the doors slamming was both heard and felt when lying in bed. Breakfast was just basic. First morning apparently no chef working so no hot options only continental. Second morning with a chef so we were able to order hot food. Partner ordered a full Scottish breakfast and was happy but I ordered salmon, poach eggs and...

"Very nice quiet and clean, and located very close to the downtown. Right on the 500 bus to the airport which took just 10 minutes to reach this morning. A very strange Jekyll and Hyde staff however. The first night they were fantastic and the third night they were absolutely horrible in the restaurant. We sat for twenty minutes before asking at the bar if we were going to be served (the bartender had ignored us up till then). His/her reply was “well you won’t get your food for at least an hour...

"This Holiday Inn is an absolute gem! It is a very modern building and the facilities are excellent. The location adjacent to the River is perfect. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff first rate. The value was unequalled. What a nice, friendly, unpretentious, happy place to stay when visiting Glasgow!"
