Barmouth Bay Holiday Park

"Caravan was clean - the sofa cushions could do with a clean but it was overall clean. The caravan had all the basic equipment you would need for a short stay. Bin bag, washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel included. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Reception sell a pottery painting kit for £5 which the kids enjoyed doing on a rainy morning. Swimming pool was warm and pool area and changing rooms clean. Next to the caravan park is a well stocked shop with everyday items and baby essentials, plenty of things to buy to entertain the kids if rainy, lots of souvenir’s to choose from too. Arcades have a large range of machines for most ages. Excellent location, on the doorstep for the beach, we had a beautiful but windy walk down there two evenings. Caravan park was busier on the weekend but still peaceful and quiet. We used the laundry facilities, which are reasonably priced. Would love to come back again and stay longer than the 4 days we were there!"

"I received a warm welcome from this family run business on arrival, parking was ample and just outside the entrance to this lovely, rural hotel. I was travelling for work purposes, so only stayed at Cadwgan for one night. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, the furniture was bright and modern, the ensuite bathroom equally clean and the bed large and very comfortable. A very peaceful location with views of the sea and cattle in the field opposite. I had a great night's sleep and enjoyed a light breakfast the next morning. As a solo female traveller, I would highly recommend a stay here, I felt safe and well looked after. Thank you."
