The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble for them. The location was very convenient, being close to the bus station, which made getting around easy. My room was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout my stay. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others. Only negative was there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This was easily resolved once I asked for a kettle etc but I didn't need to get fresh milk everyday as no fridge in room

Very clean and efficient hotel

Very clean and efficient hotel. Very comfortable rooms with lovely beds and shower. The breakfast was good, although we prenotified the hotel our daughters dietary needs and they only had a bread roll for her, which was disappointing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Churwalden.

We loved it!

Fantastic stay in a quiet area. The hotel had just opened half a year ago. Nice rooms, good beds, clean, free access to spa area, good and friendly service. Breakfast was very delicios and super waitress who for the second morning remembered that I am glutenintolerant, which means that they serve glutenfree as well, if you ask for it. We asked for another pillow at the reception, and they had a whole pillow menu, to choose from. First we booked just for one night and wanted to go for another place for the second, however the place was so nice, that we stayed for an extra night.

Hotel Krone Churwalden was great. It’s located along a busy road in a small town, but it had a very updated feel. We stayed there two nights for our ski trip and since there wasn’t too many restaurants to choose from, we ate at the hotel every night for dinner and it was PHENOMENAL. Some of the best food we had during our Swish trip. The servers and bartenders are super nice as well. With it being a small town we stayed in most evenings, since there isn’t much to do around there, if you aren’t skiing. Side note, you’re able to walk to the ski lifts since it’s that close. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were spacious and provided good amenities. If you’re American I will say the only thing that slightly caught me off guard was the spa (saunas, hot tub) being a nude option. The front desk clerk did explain it to me, but no one in my party believed me, until we actually went one night to relax lol. Overall if you’re in Churwalden I wouldn’t stay anywhere but here.
