"The apartment itself was great, well-designed, well-equipped, and very clean. Everything else was a nightmare. Online check-in didn't work. When I arrived, I was made to wait for twenty minutes outside the building, communicating with someone at another location through the intercome. "Löhnburg is a small town away from most big cities. However, this hotel which has been operated for 190 years by the same family, is amazing. There are many interesting towns around it and it is helpful for people touring the region by bicycle. Every staff member went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is wonderful. It has most of the amenities one would expect to find in a 4.5 to 5 star hotel in a larger city. "
"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember.
