"Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult."

"I was definitely not expecting to be at the Ritz or at the 4 Seasons. I chose this hostel because of the cheap price and the position. But the bare minimum standards were not met at all. For me those are cleanliness and the availability of very little things, especially in the bathroom. The shared room was never cleaned throughout my stay, neither my sheets nor my towel were ever changed in 9 days. At a certain point the shower gel dispenser was empty and I asked to have it refilled, they said...

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem Hotel, während der Unwetterphase in Andalusien. Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage auf dem Hügel oberhalb der Stadt, direkt neben der Festung Gibralfaro mit einzigartigem Ausblick auf die Stadt und den Hafen. Es gibt dort viele Parkplätze vor Ort und man kann per 20 - 30 minütigem Fußweg in die Stadt herunter laufen und ist direkt im Altstadtzentrum mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. "Unfortunately breakfast was primarily the same food day after day.. That was all good for the first few days but it got old pretty quickly. The scheduling system for breakfast could be challenging if not done upon arrival due to limited space. listing originally indicated that there was a gym on property but not the case even though still showed in Elevator "A" on the floor listing. "The room was fine and location is great. Two negatives i) toilet has no space for legs (!) And ii) lights are either all on or all off i.e. no softer lighting for bedside. But overall good value compared to others. "

"Absolutely wonderful boutique feel hotel in the very heart of the city. Also the staff were fabulous. Each member of the team were friendly, helpful and courteous. Lovely little rooftop bar. If we had been longer than one night we would have eaten but had a great couple of beers and views. The rooms are beautifully done and spotlessly clean. You have a wonderful hotel.
