"We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. That was very Beneficial to me in my family within our budget. "This hotel is cute and comfortable. I booked a 2 night stay for a romantic weekend with my boyfriend. We got the deluxe, upgraded room. It was nice and clean. The staff is what makes this property a real winner. Very kind, attentive and willing to help make your experience enjoyable."

"I needed a room for one person while visiting Orange County for a basketball tournament and I really wanted to be within walking distance of the beach but was on a tight budget and I was delighted to discover the Boat Room at Nomads. The price was unbeatable for a May weekend and I loved my tiny little room. It had absolutely everything I needed and the ownership was so helpful via text with getting checked in and then adding the information about my rental car right before we got to the hotel....

"We enjoyed our stay at the Always Inn very much! Freda was an amazing and welcoming host who enjoyed sharing her property with us. And Sunday breakfast with her definitely needs to be experienced; an amazing quantity of delicious foods that took up the entire table top! We'll be visiting again soon!"

There's 1 window in entire unit and it would not open 2. No WIFI - listed as "Internet" in Expedia profile, each day we were promised it would be fixed. Each day we were disappointed. It was never fixed. 3. No TV ("40-inch TVs with cable channels") - likely tied to internet outage. 4. Sofa was incredibly worn-out and uncomfortable 5. Room in general...

"This hotel charges $15 a night to park for some odd reason and I wasn’t told this by check in associate . Apparently it is shown in the fine print on Expedia if opening up more details page . Don’t get satisfied the price is ok before considering the added $15 to park which they actually charged $16.50 a night for anyway ."

"If could give this hotel 1,000 stars, I would! The decor was absolutely stunning and reminded us of our favorite places in Puerto Vallarta. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the two fireplaces made for the perfect nightcap and a truly relaxing evening. The staff at the front desk were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
