We enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the desk was very friendly. Was pretty quiet but you can still hear the freeway noise a bit. Of our three day stay maids only made up the room on our second full day. Hotel is definitely in need of remodeling, but it looks like they are starting on that project. We will continue to stay based on our needs (dog) and decent price in the off-season.

I booked a deluxe room in advance which was more price. I call the property to let know I was traveling with a very small dog they could have told us then that they don’t allowed dogs in deluxe rooms. When we arrive they gave us a room with double beds for me and my husband and we were told they could not refund us the difference because we booked through Expedia. And we were charged an additional 75.00 for my dog as a dep in case she dirty the room. That has not been refunded to our credit card yet even do we left on Sunday March the 10th . I’m sure they clean the room already and know my dog didn’t dirty it.

I would rate this room By comfort and cleanliness inside room and all Necessities working which DIDN,T . The bathroom FAN did not work . The Hot water out of faucet never got HOT ? The bed was Very old with springs very bouncy, the pillows seems old and made out of Cotton. The bathroom door inside was falling apart along with the trim around tub . This Hotel should be rated to a 1 1/2 or 2 on a scale of five

It depends what side of the building you are assigned, it’s noisy by the freeway 805 side. The convineint stores, gas & dining is close by. The morning breakfast is great & the facility is nice & clean. Just don’t like the freeway side.

What a pleasant surprise. While it is not an upscale property the staff acts like it is with their stellar level of customer service. The rooms are upgraded and it seems they have new linens and towels. The restroom is spacious. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The only thing they might do is offer larger screen televisions. It's pet-friendly and well located in a safe and accessible area of San Diego. The free breakfast was just perfect. I think the staff really shines here! Kudos to the management for picking and training stellar staff! We will be back. Oh, and the price was a good value.
