"Lack of communication between the house keeping person and the front desk man, led us to a dirty room. He thought the room was clean and when we entered the room, we found a dirty room that had not been cleaned yet. It was gross. The lady was two doors down and when I told her, she hurried to clean it and restock clean towels. The front desk man apologized. We waited outside in the car in the meantime. Also, the water from the faucet was extremely low. and the mirror was dirty. The shower water...

"I got charged other 50.00 because my daughter started her period and a spot was on sheets. I could not understand person n lobby spoke terrible English. I left my retainer in room called back and they said they never saw it. Included the retainer total cost of room was 675.00. room was 92.00and 50.00 for sheets plus my retainer. Very bad service"

"I would say that you need more than two pillows going forward. Some areas need updating like the bathroom sink. The floors were pretty dirty and looks like they were not cleaned at all. Not bad if you’re looking for a last-minute place to crash."

The staff at both check-in and check-out were friendly and helpful, and the location is ideal—close to Monterey but far enough away to avoid the crowds and tourist congestion. "Place was the best orice online. I wasn't expecting very much. But when I got here everything was spotless, and the room had it all but an iron, which I don't use. Staff was very professional and courteous. If you get a chance, give Sealamp Inn a shot!"

"Property is well maintained and has big rooms. they don’t have air conditioners but has fan though it wasn’t required to use as weather was really good. Breakfast has limited option and limited space. But overall stay was good."
