"The breakfast bar exceeded my expectations all three mornings I was there. Two types of egg dishes, bacon, sausage, potatoes… different each day.
My only complaint is with the HVAC… very noisy fan. Fortunately, the window could open so I could turn it off to sleep. Two others in my group had miserable nights sleeping because of heat/cold/noise issues. "

"I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime.
The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus. Plus, it’s only about 9 minutes from the gondola,...

"Loved this hotel and the staff were the most pleasant and helpful staff I’ve come across. The buffet breakfast (not included) was delicious! Resort is beautiful! Pool and hot tub are indoors which is so nice in Tahoe where it’s cold more than it’s hot. Room was great. Live music in lobby in the evenings (nothing loud and obnioux). Will definitely stay here again (and possibly only here)."

"Hello, We had reserved a specific suite, but upon arrival the manager informed us that it was unfortunately not available. Instead, we were offered a different suite with what was described as a better view (our original booking had a street view, and the new one was supposed to be an upgrade). We agreed to the change.
However, the replacement suite turned out to be quite noisy at night. It was located near the rooftop area, and despite some distance, the mechanical equipment on the roof...

"We continue to come back to the Timber Lodge because the facility and location are outstanding as well as all the staff that works here. Not much to complain about because it is clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside the room. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience in South Shore.
