"The view was amazing"

"Located at the former University of Canterbury, the refurbished rooms are in an old gray brick building. Located in east walking distance to downtown and across the street from the Botanical Garden, it was ideal for our brief stay in Christchurch. Staff was helpful. No breakfast but there are places close by. May be challenging for people with special needs (walking issues) as there are stairs throughout. That said, they may have accommodation available."

I especially appreciated the gluten-free options available, which made my stay much easier and more enjoyable. Having access to a laundry room was another great convenience during my travels. The location is perfect for walking, with wonderful paths and beautiful surroundings to explore. "Clean room. Easy check in. TV we could only turn on and off, no volume or channel change. Bed was very uneven and well used on one side"

"Everything was spectacular except the breakfasts. No healthy options for bread or yogurt nor sliced fruit. But most importantly they make the coffees for you (not self serve) and they took forever and didn’t seem to understand what you were asking for."
