"Our vacation didn’t start out well from the moment we landed in Barbados. Standing out in the high heat for 30 minutes waiting to be brought to the hotel. Then when we arrived, we simply wanted to check in, take a shower and begin our vacation. It took about another hour before our luggage was brought to the room. The rooms are old. Tiles around the tub were patched wrong. Overhead shower was dripping constantly and the bathroom trash can was old and rusted! Toilets themselves are too low. Not conducive for seniors. Lots of noise throughout the day from power washes to hammer drilling to blowers. Constantly! The resort is huge and therefore, signage could be better getting around. Found ourselves constantly asking staff how to get to a particular restaurant or back to the hotel room. Staff however were outstanding. Very friendly and professional. They were always available and very helpful. Would we stay there again? Probably not. We’ve visited Barbados many times over the years. First time at a Sandals and we were simply not impressed."
