Kid Friendly Hotels in Chonas-l'Amballan

"The hotel has a decent location for exploring Lyon. The staff was friendly, the check-in process was smooth, and the room was clean. However if you’re traveling in the spring, it is worth noting that they don’t “activate” the air conditioning until “the end of May” (despite AC being listed among the room amenities). If you are traveling by car, I strongly recommend paying for the hotel parking—we opted to park on the street down the block and our rental car was broken in to. Obviously that’s not an issue with the hotel, but worth noting so people don’t make the same mistake. "

"Bedroom with small kitchenette area. Reasonably equipped for those staying 3 or 4 days and not wanting to eat out every day. They have a breakfast buffet for an extra cost, which we did not use. Beds very comfortable. A bit outside the old town and tourist area…..would need to take public transit, which is right in front…..but then the cost of accommodation is lower than that if you are right downtown in the prime area."

La partie restauration est vraiment très bien, assuré par un personnel particulièrement sympathique, et constitue clairement le point fort de l’hôtel. En revanche, le spa laisse à désirer : propreté très moyenne, hammam hors service sans que l’équipe ne m’en informe, et un accueil peu agréable — on a presque l’impression de déranger lorsqu’on demande une serviette, d’autant plus qu’aucun peignoir n’était disponible ni au spa et ni dans la chambre. Au final, l’hôtel reste convenable, mais la prestation globale manque de qualité autant dans les chambres que pour les équipements annexes, à l’exception du restaurant qui se démarque nettement."

"This hotel is close to the tram stop which was very convenient. The hotel looks newer and that is reflected in the rooms. The room was large for three people. Everything looked clean. Breakfast was extensive! There was coconut yogurt and almond milk for those that don't eat dairy."
