"This advertisement is deceiving. It states it’s close to exploring the area. It’s 35 miles from anywhere. Nothing is around it. You have to drive on 3 miles of dirt road that will tear your car up. They have pictures posted that’s deceiving. 5 pictures show coffee makers and microwaves in the room. There are no coffee makers or microwaves just in a certain room. That is never explained. The rooms are dated. Our shower curtain had not been cleaned in a long time and the faucets on the shower did not work correctly. It stated there were walking and biking trails trails with an s. There was one. Also the pictures shown some said they were on property. Also a lie. The picture was in the national park 50 miles away you can not even sit on the “balcony” with out your neighbor passing back and forth in from of you. No privacy!! And the parking was also a lie. We got there there was motorcycles everywhere. We had to park in the road. Horrible place to stay. There are many places near the park, restaurants and grocery stores. This was not one. The 18 mile drive after you turn off the main road was absolutely miserable. The staff was nice and there was a good view "
"Very comfortable and clean with friendly staff. Nothing fancy but it was quite suitable for our needs. The proximity to the entrance to Big Bend National Park made this an excellent choice for us. We plan to stay again on our next trip to the area."
"AC worked too well. TV, not so much. No soap or shampoo. No coffee. The rooms need a severe update. Everything was outdated. Signage conveyed a real attitude. Couldn’t throw toilet paper in the toilet. Absurd and a bit disgusting. "
"Great Views and Very Close to Big Bend. No Bathrooms in the cabin it is shard space. My wife walked in on a man going to the bathroom #2 and he had the door wide open and did not bother to close it once my wife walked in. Partly my fault for not reading the reviews and seeing others post about how small it is. The Pictures are very misleading about the actual living space. We made it work though and overall it was ok but i could have stayed at big bend station for the same price and not have a shared bathroom and bigger space to sleep "
"Modern, clean, and elegant. Great views of the mountains in the distance makes for beautiful mornings and evenings. Wonderful common areas and amenities. Highly recommend."
"The place was very clean, and as listed had pretty complete kitchen which we enjoyed. Bedrooms are a bit tight but we managed. Experienced record heat but ac worked great! Good location for visit to Big Bend. We should’ve stayed 2 nights. "
