Great location ruined by clueless management.
As with a lot of negative reviews, the management will post a reply saying "contacts us so we can improve". Well I did. Whilst I was there. I booked a room with a veranda and black out curtains.. I was down graded on arrival to one with neither. I called the reception and was eventually shown a room with a veranda but not black out curtains. I was then shown a room with "black out curtains" which were not. Later I note that aircon is not working. Call reception to be told no one was coming to fix it and how about i open the door? So I open the door to the swarm of bugs and bity inset who are merrily dancing to the significantly loud bass from the Karaoke club next to the park. Door closed again the the temperature hits 28 degrees in the room. The next morning they say the aircon was out over the whole hotel and that it would not be on the next nights either. Due to no sleep I get to the restaurant for breakfast a minute past 10am and its closed. I almost had to beg for a coffee (NOTE - there are no tea or coffee making facilities in their rooms) I Check out and move across town to a hotel with all my requirements. It's a shame - it could be such a lovely hotel but who ever owns and managers is has no idea about running a hotel. It's full of trinkets and gimmicks and misses the basics. Hospitality - Good rest and sleep and service. MIsses on all fronts.

Solid Hotel
I travel a lot and this didn't really feel like a four star hotel. However for Moldova, which may be part of Europe, but doesn't really feel like it, it is a four/ five star hotel. The hotel is newish, fabulously clean. etc. You couldn't fault the room etc. The breakfast was a traditional continental affair, with some local quirks - cold fried eggs. I didn't try the restaurant, so can't comment. There didn't appear to be any room service, which was odd. I Normally use the gym, but i was a bit under the weather so didn't. However you seemed to have to book it and pay if you wanted the sauna. The price is cheap compared to similar hotels in other countries. On the whole I will stay there again when i next travel to Moldova.

So if you come next time to us we will have new renovated rooms and you can try it. Also please be informed that we have modified free acces hours in swimming pool. Now you can enter there at any time from 07:00 till 23:00 but with preliminary registration. Steam Sauna works from 21:00 till 23:00. Also it is important to know that you have 10% discountin our restaurant, so we hope next time you will have possibility to try our kitchen. Sure, you will like it! Wouldnt stay here again
While the building looks like a 4 star hotel, when you cannot get the room to be cooler than 26 C and are told that is the standard for room temperatures, something is wrong. Thank goodness you can open the windows and open the door and get a breeze. The staff were nice and tried to see if they could do something about the temperature, but it never was fixed - made the stay pretty miserable. The hotel has a great location and was probably once a decent hotel, but given a choice, I'd try somewhere else next time.

A good place to stay in the best part of the city
This is a very nice small hotel in the very heart of the city, right by the most beautiful Pushkin Park. The people in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size although not too big. The air conditioning worked but I would prefer that it worked a little stronger since it was extremely hot outside. The room was cleaned daily. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the breakfast was very nice, with a big variety of food. The only thing was the the magnetic key to the room had to be charged every other day. I was told that I keep it next to my cell phone, and it got de-magnetized.

The hotel has the best location, being situated in the very centre of Chisinau. Rooms towards the park were very good (new, clean and comfortable). However, the service in the restaurant was a bit clumsy.

great choice when traveling to or through Chisinau
This hotel was great. They were doing some renovations on the 4th floor (we stayed on the 5th) but it didn't bother us at all. We actually came to the hotel before check in time (with a baby) and they were kind enough to let us into our room early. The room was very nice and spacious and the bathroom was updated. The fitness room is open 24/7 which is nice. There is a park right across from the hotel which is nice for a morning run. The hotel itself is located in a great spot.

This is a beautiful hotel and the room was comfortable. I usually stay in the major American brands. This is as good as any of those. Very good value for the price. My only complaint was the breakfast food was mostly gone by 8:00 am.

Good hotel in great location!
We had a great experience at the Jolly Alon Hotel. The only negative was there were no screens on the balcony door or windows and so mosquito's got in at night. But we loved the location next to the beautiful park and the down town center. Staff was friendly and even spoke English.

An excellent three star– five star hotel
The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, very convenient for government offices, local shopping, cultural visits, local conferences. The hotel itself is an interesting mix between three star standard and five star standard. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, although bathrooms are very small and rather dated. Breakfast is excellent and reception staff are also really good. I did not use the dining room as there did not seem to be much dining activity. However there are several restaurants, Bars and coffee shops nearby. The minibar was well stocked. Housekeeping was very helpful in providing laundry and in room hiding facilities. Do not expect any substantial lounge facilities. If the weather is nice it is good to sit out in the outside bar. Free internet was welcomed but occasionally quite slow and, in some bedrooms I suspect it is not going to work. If you need Internet make sure that you ask for another room if necessary once you have done checks. The cost also was very competitive, at least by Western Europe standards. Overall a very large but also quiet hotel (at least when I was there) and I hope to stay there again soon.

Nice Hotel in the center of Chisinau
The hotel is a bit like a deserted palace. I guess a lot of diplomats stay there (it is next door to the Parliament). The pool is lovely but you have to be escorted down there to the basement and then it is empty. You have to find your way back up through the office area. We had a beautiful view of the park and it felt like being in the country rather than the middle of the capital. The front desk was insistent that we be cleared out of the hotel before allowing check out. The minibar seemed to be the issue. Soviet style lack of trust? We had friends waiting to take us to the airport so this caused a delay to our departure. Even though we paid with a credit card...?

Ausgesprochen sehr gute Lage im Stadtzentrum. Moderne und saubere Zimmer sowie des gesamten Hauses. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, inkl. starken Kaffee. Es gab aber nur einen Kaffee-Automaten für alle Gäste. Und das waren auch viele Seminarteilnehmer, die dann auch noch den Frühstücksraum einfach mit Nutzten. Da wurde es eng und fast chaotisch, im Urlaub!

Касательно душа, у нас не было жалоб и после вашего пребывания в отеле гости из данного номера не говорили о таких неполадках. Está muy bien situado pero el hotel está ya viejo. La zona de la piscina y saunas, podría estar muy bien, pero tan solo estaba funcionando una sauna de vapor. Lo demás estaba cerrado. El cuarto estaba muy frío. El aire acondicionado apenas salía caliente.

Positief: ligging. Mooie omgeving. Bij het park. Goede correcte hotel luchthaven service. Negatief: Kamer en hotel is gedateerd. Geen 4 sterren. Service is ook niet van het niveau dat je mag verwachten van een 4 sterren hotel. Ontbijtzaal opent pas om 07:00. Zoals in meer recensies te lezen, wordt het ontbijtbuffet inderdaad niet aangevuld. Als je later komt ontbijten, is niet alles meer volop aanwezig.

Wer keinen Luxus erwartet, auf guten Betten in Ruhe einfach nur schlafen möchte , der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Dame an der Rezeption war Weltklasse , freundlich und schnell und man musste nichts fragen . Hoch professionell !! Ein schöner Park in der Nachbarschaft und die City unmittelbar im Zentrum. Wenn da nur nicht das Frühstück wäre , der totale Kontrast zum Gesamteindruck den ich von diesem Hotel habe. Grottenschlecht ! Geht gar nicht. Am Besten das Hotel buchen aber an anderer Stelle frühstücken.

Helt ok hotell i sentrum av Chisinau. Stort rom, lite bad som ikke var helt "up to date" og aircondition fungerte bare sånn passe men greit nok. Trivelig og hjelpsom resepsjon. Frokost var av typisk øst Europeisk standard, medium utvalg av ting men blid og hyggelig betjening.
