Was a great place to stay. Will definitely make this our half way stop over again. Room was clean, easy access from the highway. No traffic noise.

Motel was dirty and no house keeping
We stayed for 2 nights. My husband and 2 children, age 16 and 9. No house keeping was done so i had to go to the reception that evening to get clean towels and toilet paper. The motel is next to the highway and we could hear the trucks and cars from our room, very unpleasant experience. The lady at the reception was very rude, didnt smile. After we checked out, she called us two hours later, accused us of rubbing mangos all over the carpet and beds. She even said one of the pillow cases was soaked with mango. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. She demanded and processed a $100 extra on my credit card. I have traveled locally and all over the world, i have never experienced that. I was so happy with this unit at gateway. It was so clean, the shower was huge and the bed was so comfortable. Upon booking at reception I was greeted with a very lovely lady who was extremely polite and hoped I enjoyed my stay. There was an information booklet in the room that had so much to see and a lot of options for dining. But there was also a kitchen at the units we could use if we decided to stay in. I will definitely be staying here again when we visit Childers next.

Infested with fleas
The room we stayed in had fleas and we ended up bitten all over, the hotel at first promised to refund half of what we paid but since then have accused us of bringing the fleas and refuse a refund of any type.
