Hotel Dekat Chico Air Museum

"Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, waffles plus the normal continental grab and go stuff. The property is run down but clean. It was hard to wheel my luggage across the hallway rug because it's coming up in several places. But other than it having the run-down feeling in a few places, the staff was so kind and helpful and everything was very clean, so for the price, especially considering the yummy breakfast, excellent stay!"

"Overall it was a great stay. However, I think the staff could use some training in customer service. I pre-paid the breakfast for both days I was there. I double checked with the front desk that breakfast was pre-paid, and they said yes. At breakfast, I got a bill for the food, and they said the charge would be removed from my bill. But then a couple weeks later I saw the charge for breakfast for both days on my credit card. I called the hotel and the first thing the person answering asked was...

"clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, A/C kept room nice and cool, Denny's is right next door, Waffle house, S&S Produce Store (fresh vegetables and fruit), 7/11 among some other shops are within walking distance."

"The hotel was very clean. It is in a great location right next to a Dutch Bros, a brewery and Best Buy. The pre-cooked breakfast was not as good as the other times I stayed there. The cinnamon rolls are still great. I would highly recommend this location."

"Ordered the big room with the jacuzzi tub and it was absolutely nasty. Had hair literally everywhere in it I had to scrub the jets myself, ran cleaner through the jets and drained it 3 times and still had hair coming out. Hair in the towels. Room was overall just dirty and nowhere worth the money. They were accommodating for the most part besides calling me 3 weeks later claiming that I took their green blanket. (Wouldn’t want to bring anything home from there with how dirty the room was)....

"Hands down the filthiest motel I've ever stayed in, and I'm a purveyor of cheap motels. 1) Moldy something under the microwave plate 2) Holes (cigarette burns?) in the sheets 3) Crazies blasting bass in their cars at 5am for 45 mins 4) luke warm shower 5) a tiny bar of soap, no shampoo 6) dust and dirt and grime on most surfaces. 7) Wifi network down and nobody at the front desk for hours after 10pm The key and heater worked at least. "

"Absolutely LOVE this hotel! The property is gorgeous, the location is super convenient & the staff is lovely. This is our 2nd stay & I don’t think we’ll ever stay anywhere else in Chico. It’s been perfect both times. "
