"I had a great stay at HeyHa house. The couple who runs the guest house are Chiang Mai natives. They are super fun to talk to and give great advice. They are laid back and offer nice coffee, tea, and snacks downstairs. The room itself was big and luxurious, with a huge bed. It was clean and they added fresh towels and made up the bed everyday. "Family-run guesthouse. Polite and friendly (very little English spoken). On a quiet backstreet. Room was very clean, but small (no wardrobe or storage space). Rather expensive (GBP 22 per night, THB 1,000) by Thai standards compared to other similar guesthouses. Location quite far from main tourist area, so need to borrow a bicycle or rent a scooter to get around. Not much nearby in the way of restaurants etc. Hard pillows."
