Old hotel with noisy bathroom plumbing. People above would flush the toilet and we were awakened around 3 AM with the noisy sewer pipes.

Great Accommodations
We arrived by bus, hotel just around the corner, 3 minute walk. Most excellent stay. Bathroom could use some updating, everything else was great.

Lovely hotel close to lots of attractions
The hotel is very close to the night bazaar, clock tower, walking street and the flower festival. The staff was very welcoming and gave us ideas on what to do the day we arrived.

Very nice hotel. Many rooms available. Looked like a nice pool area, but too cold for swimming. Very good buffet breakfast.

This is a good hotel with super helpful staff. The all day ding restaurant offers a great breakfast However it is obvious that maintenance has not been done for some time - the Air conditioning leaked and the shower head was partly blocked in my first room. I was upgraded to a lovely room Thank you to the staff

Valued stay, but not fancy!
Hotel is large and seems equipped for extra service like tours offers in the lobby. But due to the pandemic there are not many travelers thus everything is quiet and cut down as everywhere in the world . Hotel is a little outdated with decor . Can be better with som repaint to brighten up. Checkin and out are fast. Pleasant staff, breakfast is included and has enough options for selectionsIt is buffet on weekend but at order on weekdays . Clean and bed us quite comfortable. We had to change room because WiFi was not connected. But it ran well as we changed to another room ! The pool looks big and nice but we did not have time to use it! Area is safe and walkable to town but everything seems quiet during Covid time!

Only stayed one night whilst travelling. Room good size. Traditional style hotel could maybe do with refurb. Not enough hooks in bathroom for towels/ toilet bags. Good choice for breakfast and plenty of it but my partner bemoaned the lack of muesli( he's a creature of habit). A better choice than the Hi Chiangrai and cheaper too.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel although needing a little update, was very clean and comfortable. They have a nice bar with plenty of space to unwind, a nice restaurant with great food, and a karaoke bar at night. Shopping and dining is all within walking distance

Six tour buses on the night that I stayed meant that there would be peak lines for morning breakfast. After the tour buses left, there was a good buffet with generous western and Thai choices.

Top spot
The Wiang Inn has been such a majestic hotel in its day it’s like going back years to the day a traveller was treated with style. The hotel is currently renovating its pool & was out of action but we were able to use their sister hotel the Wiang Indra Riverside’s pool. This place also was a great old place 😊 This hotel was very centrally located to the local markets, bus station (we arrived from Chiang Mai) & has a courtesy bus to the airport for 100baht each. The Saturday night markets were the best we’ve ever come across but be very patient as the crowds were just shuffling along as so many people. Well worth it though as there were bargains galore. Great service by all staff & the breakfast buffet was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend the Wiang Inn.

Great hotel,I stay here whenever I’m in Chiang Rai.The only down side is the tour bus loads of obnoxious tourists that arrive most evenings.

Love this hotel
Love this hotel. Location is fantastic, located back from street so nice and quiet. Lobby is lovely, staff helpful. Breakfast buffet caters equally for western and asian people. Close to night markets and bus terminal. Plenty of restaurants and massage near by.

Four star location maybe?
I was certainly deceived by the four star rating. This is by no means a bad hotel, but it is nowhere near four stars. The room was dated, the bathroom had odd lighting, and you had to purchase wifi if you wanted to use it. There was no fitness center or business center, but there was a somewhat overpriced restaurant and apparently a nightclub. The live music in the lobby bar was nice to see, although I didn't visit the bar. Bed was reasonably comfortable. The location is pretty great though. It's less than five minutes from the bus stop and from the area you can access many other nice places around.

Top place in Chiangrai
A large hotel very conveniently located next to the bus station and night bazaar in the centre of the old walled city. Room was spacious with comfortable beds and good amenities. Highly recommended

Worst hotel wi-fi ever!
Older, but good hotel in the city. Breakfast and restaurant are good. Wi-fi is terrible everywhere in the building. Probably one of the worst I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. Interestingly, when we mentioned it at the reception it improved instantly, but then turned bad again. Personnel not as friendly and helpful as in most other hotels in Thailand.
