I like everything about the Space Hotel Chiang Rai. I also stay at the Space Hotel in Lampang. Soon there will also be a Space Hotel Airport in Chiang Rai as well. I travel for business and pleasure and The Space Hotels is where I stay in Thailand.

Very average.
Not much to say, very average locals type hotel. Breakfast was basically useless unless you like rice porridge and instant coffee or tea as there were no other choices.

Needs more quality
Checkin was good, helpfull staffs. Room needs more cleaning - dusty areas, towel needs to be changed - poor quality. Breakfast was terrible - coffee,tea + boiled rice with chicken/pork & biscuit. Not recommended for International travellers. Mosquitoes all over in the hotel - reception, lobby, room areas. Location is good for eateries, shopping, bars. ( BRYAN )

We found it a pleasant stay. The beds and the shower were both very small. The lobby and the overall feel of the restaurant is very modern and clean. The room was good and we’d stay here again.

Lovely short stay!
We had a lovely short stay here! The room was amazing especially as it was within a backpackers budget but was luxury! The bed was so comfy and the shower was nice and warm. We used to gym on site and had it all to ourselves which was another plus. We never tried the breakfast but it looked lovely, all thai food. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the clock tower and main strip but there are small shops/food stands around if you didnt feel like walking that fair. My partner got food poisoning while we were here (nothing to do with the hotel as we didnt eat there) and he felt comfortable and was glad we were in such a nice room when he was ill. We didnt get to do too much in Chiang Rai because of this so would deffo come back! Overall we had a great stay here and would love to come back!

It’s okay for those with budget travel in mind..
Convenient to tourist area around Bus Station I, Night Market and Clock Tower.. Rolm okay except no accent lights on night stand. The room I stayed could use a little maintenance (more than standard cleaning - aged tiles, water spots, general appearance greater than cleaner persons would maintain).. Great price and Asian Fare Breakfast.. Consider comparing to other local area listings..

Main level was up to date, but rooms were outdated. Double bed room was very spacious, but very soft bed. Shower pressure not the greatest. Staff didn’t speak much English, so hard to communicate. Specify they have blow dryers at front desk, but don’t. Great location! All in all, it was good for what you pay for.

It was a good place to stay for a night with parking on site big enough for our big truck. Really liked the fact that when you shower, the water doesn’t go everywhere in the bathroom. . It would be perfect if there were more options for breakfast other than kao tom and instant coffee.

It’s an ok place!
The hotel is OK, what I’ve noticed in Thailand is that the pictures posted of hotels doesn’t match the actual facility very well. They truly look photoshopped all the way and improved to appear more appealing for customers. This hotel shows a curved front of the hotel, which makes it look bigger and perhaps in a place with more space. Nothing at all, it’s locsted in an alley way and the front is completely flat, the rooms are spacious but they smell old until you become nose blind about it. The kettle is super old along with all the counter space and mattress. For the price I guess it’s an ok place but it is nothing fancy as their pictures portray.

Hotel was great, rooms large,clean and serviceable. Location little far out of busy touristy area. Staff were basically non existant, they sit at the desk and barely lift their head to even acknowledge you...one interaction was a room call to advise you to vocate room...then when i did check out, she called some to check room...there wasn't a mini bar service provided? I would not stay here next time.

Clean Inexpensive Room
For the price it was good. We wanted a clean room for not a lot and The Space Hotel delivered on both. Tucked away you had the privacy but could walk to various areas of the city. They served a typical Thai breakfast. And offered free wi-fi. Would book again.

Hotel a recommander. Grande Chambre Propre et bien équipée. En revanche petit dej local avec une soupe de riz et des épices. Pour les européens qqs gâteaux secs. Difficile a avaler a 6h du matin. A améliorer

安い宿なのでしょうがないけれど、床、洗面台に虫がはっています。シャワーの排水も良くないです。 しかし、そこが安く旅するアジア旅のいい所でもあります。ヤモリが部屋に来たり外ではニワトリが鳴いていたり日本では味わえない雰囲気があります。綺麗ではないが僕は楽しかったですね！
