I highly recommend Gita’s House, a lovely and comfortable guest house in a peaceful neighborhood just a 15 minute walk from the tourist center. Spotlessly clean with a kind and helpful staff that can arrange all your rentals and tours. Best stay on our trip so far.

Basic small guesthouse run by father and daughter. Very helpful and clean. A little walk to centre, best to bike ride. Highly recommend for the price.

Lovely stay
I loved Gita's House. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious with. Nice sitting area in front. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was easy walking distance to bars and restaurants but in a very quiet side street so it was peaceful. The shared spaces and share breakfast made it easy to meet other guest. They had free biked to use. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also did my laundry for 50 baht. Highly recommended.

Very quiet neighbourhood but only 10 minutes to Walking Street etc. Staff are very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and up to date. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Safe and friendly place to stay near the town.
The best part of staying at Gita's house are the friendly staff. The owner and her parents were extremely kind and thoughtful. The owner opens her home to hold healing yoga classes too, and she is so passionate (and also humble) to share her learning with everyone. She invites teachers of different kinds of healing to share their knowledge too. It was truly a wonderful, warm, safe and welcoming place to stay.

Gita's House is very nice to stay at!
We enjoyed our visit at Gita's House. Everyone was friendly and the staff was attentive. The hotel was very clean and in a very good Chiang Rai location. Thank you!

Was once a wellness/yoga centre and oozes serenity. Huge rooms and bathrooms. Great helpful Hosts. Excellent Day-Trip available . Breakfast in communal room with great daily choices. Tea, Coffee etc available all day. Walkable to main drag (about 10 mins for this older female lady) and Hosts are full of helpful information to make your stay even more enjoyable. Enjoyable (and great food) Pad-Thai restaurant 5 minutes away. Gita's House better than a home-stay !!! Loved it (seriously)

Fantastic hospitality, good money for value
We were a family of four, including my wife, and two teenagers daughters. Since our arrivel, Joy who was in the reception was very kind, and help us to organize a number of trips to the White and Blue Temple, to some national Parks, to see the sunrise in the border with Laos, to visit the Singha farm, to go to the Golden triangle and cross for a short visit to Laos. We spend there a week, and of course that we highly recommend this fiendly place. Joy always had a big smile, and help us a lot when we need everything because she is fully bilingual in Thai and English, which is very important for foreigners like us who are unable to speak Thai language. Great place, good location. Ready to help. Good money for value! We definitely have a great time there!

A must stay place when in Chiang Rai.
A gem of a place to stay. Nestled amongst local houses and walking distance to the Kok River as well as the town centre and the local markets. The owners, Got a and her husband are a delight and took time to teach us more Thai words to add to our vocabulary. Quan, the cleaning lady way super friendly and helpful.

Ein angenehmes kleines Hotel in einer ruhigen Wohngegend von Chiang Rai. Relativ große Zimmer, Bad / Dusche ok, lediglich das Frühstück lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig.

เราได้เช็คอินเข้าที่พัก 30-3 มค 61 ที่ผ่านมา ห้องพักของคีตา ทำให้เรารู้สึกเหมือนกับมาที่บ้าน เพราะบรรยากาศโดยรอบที่พักรื่นรมฌ์มาก เงียบสงบเหมาะแก่การมาพักผ่อนยาวๆ การเดินทางแรกเข้าเราก็คิดว่าจะลำบากเพราะสถานที่ค่อนเข้าไปในซอย แต่ไม่เป็นอย่างที่คิด ที่นี่มีบริการรถจักรยนต์ให้เช่าในราคาที่ไม่แพง แถมไม่ต้องวางประกันด้วย และมีจักยานถีบ ให้บริการฟรี หากต้องการเข้าเมือง ซึ่งไม่ไกลเลย ..สนุกดีนะคะ อยากให้ลองไป
