This is a charming hotel with gracious, friendly and helpful staff. While in the old town, it is down a small street, so it is quiet and you wake to birdsong and not street traffic. Being in the old town, it is within easy walking distance of many temples, night markets and dining/shopping areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in great location but a bit restricted space wise. Pool was tiny and space to sunbathe very restricted. Room spacious and comfortable. Recessed light switches were perplexing to begin with. As was request for 1000 baht deposit for a room card (I declined).

Very quaint small hotel right in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. The small pool is lovely on those hot days after exploring the city. Staff is extremely friendly and the place was spotless. We took advantage of the mini convenience store across from the hotel that also serves as the local bar. We hung out with the locals before or after heading out to dinner.

Quiet nice hotel.
Not a good location, can be pretty quiet if you try walking back to the hotel and is far from main road. But is a beautiful classic hotel, small and compare room with everythings you needed in it. Friendly staff and very helpful when in need.

Cute small hotel. Nice small pool with 4 loungers and a table and jacuzzi. Very local and convenient to cafes and restaurants and massages and temples such as Wat Phra Sing. Nice staff. Decent and clean rooms, the bed was a bit hard but other than that very nice hotel.

The Charcoa is a beautiful and unique boutique hotel in a quiet area that is nonetheless 5 minutes from a main road. It has about a dozen rooms (named after characters from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings), so it's personal. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Our room was spacious and bright, with a very comfortable bed and a big bath. All around great stay.

So clean, even under the bed was spotless with no dust. Reception was always attentive and an absolute delight. Stayed in thailand for 4 weeks and this has been my favorite! Great value for the money. Loved having the ability to watch Netflix on my TV, had a balcony and clean bathroom. Would stay again!

A chalet in the old town of Chiang Mai
Quite and comfortable in the old City. Lovely property with a charming and helpful staff. Cute pool, which is perfect for cooling off after a hot day. Nice breakfast and quiet and comfortable rooms. Easy to walk to all the old town attractions from here.

The hotel is overall very nice, quiet and comfortable, located in a small laneway next to the main temple Wat Phra Singh. The only issue I have is the shower, where the water pressure was really weak and the temperature took a bit of time to warm up. If they can improve that then they'd be great.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here! Place was close to a lot of restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful with setting up transportation or for some local tours. Check out was quick, but One thing that caught us off guard though was we got charged for a “dirty” hand towel which we don't get.

This place was amazing! The room was very nice and the people working here are super friendly. The pool was bomb and their breakfast was delicious. I would recommend anyone to stay here. If you don't mind a little walk you can walk almost everywhere from here. Little stores, the night market, the phae gate, restaurants, major temples. I really loved our stay. Very nice hotel!!!!!!!

Great location in the old city, quirky and clean
I wanted a hotel where I was close to the markets and wats in the old city. I was travelling alone so the hotel had to have a restaurant and bar for me to use at night. I felt very safe here and all the staff were friendly. The reception staff each morning waved me goodbye and waved me back on my return. I choose to stay in a Junior Suite as I was there for 7 days and wanted a bigger room than the standard size. It was serviced every day and was very clean. The bed was one of the softest I have slept on in Thailand. The bathroom was a good size.The room did have a balcony but was only small. My room looked out on to the road but it was very quiet. The breakfast was good, had a good choice of fruit, breads and main courses. Whilst I was there watched them install an omelet station as well as an outside balcony area. Both well needed and provided an additional choice of food as well as space. I ate several times in the restaurant at night and both the local and Western food was delicious and good quantity and well priced.All the staff were friendly and could speak English. In particular Josh who spoke to me every day asking where I was going and if I needed any assistance. I used uber to get around from the hotel to other parts of Chiang Mai. I could have stayed longer as lots to see and do as well as relax by the pool. I would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again when I visit Chaing Mai again. In particular liked the deisgn of the hote

Amazing place to stay!
One thing that isn’t advertised is that all of the room are named after Lord of The Rings characters. My husband and I found that incredibly endearing. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. Our daughter enjoyed them very much as well. The service was prompt, the food delicious and the hotel is like being in a different country somewhere in Switzerland. We will return.

Great location and excellent service!
Nice location, it’s rifgt at the heart of the city where not too noisy. Very cosy room with everything you need. The staff is also very nice, they assist us with the travel planning and even recommended the best valued massage place! 👍 Definitely recommend this to the others if they want to visit Chiang Mai!

Amazing place
Absolutely loved this place. It’s affordable, clean, spacious. The breakfast is in a beautiful terrace. It has a nice pool. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The location in old town is perfect as a base if you like going around at daytime. Quiet at night. Will definitely stay here again next year!

올드 타운내에 있는 중세 유럽풍의 호텔. 아담한 수영장을 가지고 있지만 있을껕 다 있는 호텔. 피자류의 이탈리안 음식이 맛이 있음. 방은 넓고 내부도 아기 자기 하고 좋았으나 청소시에 화장실을 제대로 안하는거 같음. 또한 하수구 냄새가 너무 올라오는 단점이 있음. 스위트에 4일 묶었는데 발코니를 사용할수가 없었음. 비둘기등의 새들의 배설물이 많음.. 역시 청소를 해주진 않음... 직원들은 매우 친절 했음. 조식은 나름 맛이 있었고 특히 바나나 머핀이나 바나나케익이 맛있었음.

lovely hitel with friendly stuff in a quiet neighbourhood. the swimmingpool is a bit too small to really swim in it, also a bit cold. besides that i can fully recommend it. (they say breakfast is until 10:30 but you should be there before 10.)

ジュニアスイートに宿泊。まだ新しく綺麗で可愛く、日本人好み。小さなホテルなので騒がしい団体もおらずロケーション的にも静かに過ごすことができる。ジュニアスイートならもう少し広いかと思っていたが、日本のリゾートホテルのデラックスルームくらいの広さかな。

Hotel avec super personnel, toujours sympa et aux petits soins. Par contre la literie est vraiment vraiment trop dure et la chambre standard petite... là piscine est chouette et le petit déj aussi. Emplacement au calme à 25min a pied du night bazar mais les mieux Frida/saturday/sunday mar’et qui seront’ plus prêts... vélos à disposition gratuitement, navette aéroport 200baths.
