Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Old City Chiang Mai. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The room was very nice and clean, with self service coffee/tea, minibar, and small balcony. Very easy walk to a variety of eateries, temples, the walking street market and other sights. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

Old and tired
Unfortunately the place is old and run down. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work and it over an hour to convince the night manger that there was a problem. It then took her another 30 minutes to find us another room even though we and travelling companion were the only ones staying there. We tried to breakfast one day but the chef was having the day off. We had to get up early the next day and did provide us with toast and coffee as requested. Overall disappointing.

Our stay at Chankam was wonderful! The front desk staff were very helpful! Cute property like a bed n breakfast. 5 min walk to cafes and massage places. Out of the 3 weeks we spent in Thailand this was our favorite place.

A Standard room that is more spacious than others, with a Juliette balcony. The shower cubicle is roomy with strong spray. The location is within walkable of cafes, restaurants and tourists' spots

They charge for every drink inside the room. If you don’t want to pay extra, don’t drink or have any extra items they provide. Otherwise, the room is nice and clean. The walking distance from the hotel to street food vendors is about 5 minutes, friendly staff. The hotel is also close to the airport. If you need a ride to the airport, let them know ahead of time.

Property was very attractive and well-appointed. I liked it being on a small alley. Very quiet and pleasant oasis in the Old City. Very walkable. Great Thai BBQ on Arak Road, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

I love this hotel, it is well situated, clean, delicious breakfast, staff are so kind. What made it so enjoyable was its personality. Wonderful decoration, woodworking details, vintage furniture, beautiful tile, local handcrafts. They greeted us with orange juice and refreshing, cool cloths.

VERY friendly and accommodating staff. Power went out and did not come pack on our day of check out. The safe in the room did not work and wasn’t bolted down. The smoke detector flashed ALL night long. Bed super comfortable. Cute balcony and patio. Very safe luggage storage.

They don’t even give out instance coffee pack complimentary. There is only one staff in the evening so if we request some small stuff the only one staff at the reception has to come up to give our requested items which is odd.

This is a beautiful hotel and Rinradee the manageress is so welcoming and so helpful. The hotel is an oasis of calm in a busy city. The staff cannot do enough for you. It is a very comfortable hotel, we couldn’t wait to get back everyday and enjoy the super comfortable bed and beautiful crisp clean sheets! I look forward to staying at the Chankam boutique hotel again and thoroughly recommend it.

A very enjoyable stay
A very cute hotel! With a very friendly staff... one can also get bikes for free. Spacious rooms, in the old town but quiet, far from noise and crowd, excellent location.

Reasonable priced hotel. In the heart of the old town. You would need a taxi or GRAB (thai uber) to get around but they are very cheap. Room was comfortable and clean. Looks lovely. Staff were really helpful and near to the airport.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Wifi connectivity was good. Hotel is clean & tidy. Location a bit far from main road, but OK if you prefer quiet place. Only minus point is the layout of room, which the wardrobe is inside the bathroom, so not convenience to get dress when bathroom in use. Could be better if there is coffee sachet provided in room(our room only have tea).

This is a beautiful hotel. It is quiet with comfortable beds. We got two free bottles of water (can't drink the tap water), for a seven day stay. After that, there is a charge for every bottle of water. Also, we received a 1 inch by 1 inch square of soap for our entire stay. The hotel is beautiful but these small inconsistancies are grating

The rustic feel of the property may attract some people. The property is old. The balcony door needs to be locked by clicking the lock at a certain angle. The toilet shower door cannot be closed properly. The worse experience was the TV was not functioning properly. We cannot hear the sound and they could not get it rectified. The ambience was quite good and peaceful.

Awesome Thai style hotel in quiet neighborhood
This place is a gem! Very nice small boutique Thai style hotel. Room are very nice, staff is great. Free bicycles to wonder the city. Highly recommend, great value.

Not a good accommodation
Booked two days, left after one day. The room had a bad smell, lights were broken (random flashes when off), air con was just making a loud noise. Staff did not ask why we left early. Front desk had no staff around 11pm and 12am.

Great hotel for the price and in quiet area
Nice quiet hotel with nice rooms, the only annoyance was a few mosquitoes hanging around in the lobby and halls in the evening, just needed a few fans going to circulate the air and things would have been better, great service and breakfasts and very helpful staff.
