Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir waren vor 4 Jahren schon mal im Hotel , es hat sich zum negativen entwickelt. Das Frühstück besteht aus einer Tasse Kaffee. Schon nach einer Stunde unseres Aufenthaltes wurde unser Auto vor der Tür des Hotels aufgebrochen und unser Rucksack aus dem Kofferraum gestohlen.

Great location

I had a good time staying here! The tv had more channels than regular cable so I enjoyed that. AC worked great. The breakfast is coffee, cookies, and cereal. The location was excellent, two blocks from the malecón with many restaurants around and an Oxxo in the back. The only problem was that my bathroom sink was leaking. And I didn’t know I could ask for a blanket until I saw them in other rooms and wondered why I didn’t have one. So my second night was more comfortable for sure. :)

imposible de tener todo lo que ellos dicen como por ejemplo aire acondicionado.. ventilador cosa que antes de hacer la reserva. ponía are acondicionado.la habitación nada . intimidad.. esta todo el mundo ya pasando abriendo puertas como el desayuno el pan ya te lo dan tostados sin saber que día lo avían tostado en general para mi deja de desear ya por su precio no hace inca pie a lo que ellos dicen de hostel me iva a quedar dos semana así que salgo corriendo

El hotel es limpio y bonito aunque es pequeño lo que no ne gusto nada es que el área de dormitorios compartidos tiene una puerta que da directamente con la recepción que da s la calle y otra con la alberca por lo que todo el día el personal del hotel utiliza cómo pasó de la calle s la alberca el dormitorio, no prenden el aire acondicionado porque obvio las puertas siempre están abiertas, por lo mismo no apagan las luces y si quieres dormir pues tendrás que hacerlo con la luz prendida es súper incomodo esto creo que si alquilas una habitación privada esta bastante bien pero las compartidas no la recomiendo en absoluto don muy incomodas

Great 30 minute collectivo taxi to bacalar for a day trip. Close to ferry if you are going to Belize. Clean pool for quick dips. Check out taco loco seafood restaurant I think it is called that it’s open till 6pm I had the medium mixed cervici. Quiet town area after 1030pm.

The air conditioning in the dorm is only from 10 pm to 2 am when there are at least 5 guests!!!! Thus is not said anywhere when booking. The dorm room is situated between the office and bathrooms/pool area, so staff and others coming through at all times. It also has no windows so ridiculously hot when doors are shut and air conditioning is not on. It was miserable. Worst hostel experience in 5 trips to Mexico. I had to beg the rude girl at the front desk for a fan as I was the only person in the dorm who didn't work there. Awful experience. The young man who checked my bag in the morning was very nice, as was the hard working girl cleaning. Nice sitting area on roof. Kitchen lacked the essential items for cooking. No bottled water near kitchen for cooking.

Es un hotel cómodo, bonito, tiene detalles padres como la alberca, las hamacas y la terraza. Es sencillo pero con detalles que le dan un extra, limpio, cómodo y seguro, el personal del día es muy amable y atento, en la noche hacen guardias y están un poco perdidos con la información que proporcionan.

Hostel fine but let down by chetumal itself

The hostel was ok, I’ve stayed in others which are much friendlier, and much less expensive. I stayed in private rooms each time. The problem and hence low rating is Chetumal itself. It’s not geared up for tourists. Locals and tourists head north to bacara as there is nothing to do in chetumal except shop. It’s popular with the Belize for that very reason. Better to stay in Tulum and then head to Caye Caulker.

Cheap hostel well located in central Chetumal

Hostelito Chetumal was very well located in the center of Chetumal in close proximity to food places (el taquito a massive recommendation for dinner!) and an ATM opposite, plus only 5mins walk to the ferry port to Belize! The hostel was very well priced, had a nice (if quite small) pool and great chill area with hammocks! A nice breakfast was provided with fresh fruit and cereals which was ideal. Room itself was spacious with 2 double beds and was no r and clean. Bathroom was a little smelly but nothing too major and not a load of hanging space, but otherwise a great room for a brilliant price and I would definitely recommend this place to others visiting Chetumal on a shorter break!

Très bon hostel, peut faire mieux sur le service.

Nous sommes restés une nuit à l'hostelito dans une chambre double avec salle de bain privée. L'hostel est bien placé, proche du centre-ville. Il y a une grande terrasse sur le toit avec des hamacs, très agréable et même une petite piscine. La chambre était grande et propre et le prix est très raisonnable. Enfin, l'hostel nous a mis en contact avec une agence qui nous a permis d'aller au Belize comme nous le souhaitions. Dommage qu'ils ne nous aient pas aidé jusqu'au bout car au moment de réserver, la personne à l'accueil m'a passé le téléphone et comme je ne parle pas couramment espagnol, mais aussi que la communication était très mauvaise, nous avons perdu une demi-heure pour une communication qui aurait duré 5 minutes avec en plus de petites incompréhensions sur le paiement alors que le staff aurait très bien pu servir d'interprête. Dommage, mais l'adresse reste très bonne.

Lugar muy agradable con excelente ubicación

Es un hotel pequeño, también tiene servicio como hostal, los espacios comunes son muy agradables (la cocina, alberca, hamacas), las habitaciones amplias, el desayuno de cortesía tú te lo sirves, el cual es suficiente para comenzar el día, pero si prefieres algo más sustancioso tú puedes comprar y cocinarte algo más elaborado. La ubicación es excelente a dos cuadras del malecón. Lo malo es que no tiene estacionamiento, sin embargo, como la recepción está abierta las 24 horas, ellos vigilan tu auto. El precio es muy bueno para lo que te ofrecen. Definitivamente regresaría y lo recomiendo.

Great choice in Chetumal

Chetumal Hostelito is a fine choice for hostellers in Chetumal. Location is great—near the waterside promenade and in the heart of town—and the staff arranged pick up for guests by buses going on to Belize and Guatemala. The mattresses on dorm beds are new and comfy. And the bunks are well made and solid. Also great are large lockers that will hold your pack. Not so good? Breakfast is quite poor and served for too short a time. (7:30 to 9:00)

A great little oasis in Chetumal

We stayed four nights here over New Year's. It is right in the heart of downtown Chetumal, near the main shopping street and a nice little collection of good restaurants. The hotel is also a hostel and has people passing through it on the way to and from Belize. It is walking distance to the ferry. The rooms are comfortable and open onto the nice second floor common area. The whole place has a friendly, well run vibe, though I would not want to stay more than a night in the dorm area. It has some long-term tenants who are pretty weird.
