"Being 2026 I never thought to look and see if hotel had air conditioning. Windows only opened 4” so being high 80’s during our stay extremely uncomfortable. Lesson learned! To top it off fire alarm went off at 10:00 pm after a long flight, no communication, fire doors on 2 floors were boarded up, no staff to help and in the end no fire or apology for waiting outside for the all clear. Very old infrastructure and they claim it’s in the Q for remodel but no indication. I might add half the outlets...

"The rooms are holes. You can not even sit in the rooms, too small. The hotel resemble a to holes for mice, not really for human being . Expensive hotel and resemble to animal loges. Human being are reduced to mice, or animal to enter into holes and sleep The hotel is not properly described, so one will not pay attention that it is not a hotel. You enter the rooms with your knees as animals. Such structures should never exist in city like London. Charles"

"The Rubens is a very nice upscale hotel with a great location in the heart of Westminster and literally across the street from Buckingham Palace. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable although very small. The food, unfortunately, is very mediocre although priced as if it was excellent. The continental breakfast buffet is the worst I've seen in a hotel of this category. The croissants were fresh and good but there were hardly any choices and...

Had a bit of a faulty towers feel to the place while we were there with fire alarms going off for hours, elevators not working and bars closing at random times. Still, would highly recommend staying here !"

"My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights, we included breakfast with our stay and it was well worth it. The breakfast buffet was displayed beautifully every morning with little omelettes, an assortment of breads, pastries, deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt and cereals. They had many freshly squeezed juices, flavored water, drip coffee or served espresso directly from their bar. The service of the staff was excellent, they were friendly and helpful.
